This is a lovely upscale restaurant. The staff was attentive and friendly. I had the scallops which were delicious. Probably the best I've ever had. They were tender, flavorful and grit free.

First time I ever had a sea food platter that was not fried! Everything was cooked to perfection, and the staff was great.

An excellent experience! I had the grilled Seafood Platter and it was perfect and delicious. There were six of us and each entree was beautifully prepared and plated. Our server was knowledgeable, pleasant, and attentive. A local gem!Dietary restrictions: Server was very knowledgeable about Gluten free options.

The restaurant is a little hard to see at night and is very small. Parking is limited, and again, the lot is small. To start... they didn't have my reservation that I booked a month prior, and they wanted to seat us by the door at the bar. After several minutes, I had to go out to my car to get my phone to show them I had a reservation. After showing them my reservation, they still asked if we would sit at the bar. I politely said we would rather have a table, and with a little hesitation, they obliged. Where we were seated, the ambiance was like sitting in a closed-in porch ( maybe 5 or 6 tables, and the tables were very close together). It was not a good place to have a private or intimate conversation. The main seating area was where the bar was. It was semi loud and small. The inside was clean, and bathrooms were available near the door. We ordered drinks (bourbon & coke) from the bar. I ordered the shecrab soup, which came out nice and hot and tasted delicious. We did get a complimentary order of fried hush puppies(4). They were very small and over fried. BUT FREE!! The calamari was heavily breaded with very small bits of calamari and very greasy. It's probably our least favorite. We ordered the seafood platter and mahi. The seafood platter came with a small lobster tail, (2)scallops, (1)small crab cake, (2) sautéed shrimp, and grits. The mahi was (2) small pieces with smashed garlic potatoes and green beans that were both just above lukewarm. Our total for two people with two meals, four drinks, two desserts, and two coffees was $170.00 without gratuity. The service was great!! Our waitress greeted us and introduced herself. She was able to give us the specials and dessert menu off the top of her head, and she was flawless while doing it. She was polite and kept our drinks full.

Amazing seafood. Great service. The bartender was very sweet and knowledgeable. She recommended the Charleston Fizz and the chef’s choice of the special fish. 20/10 would recommend.

My favorite restaurant! Ryan was the best bartender. I typically order scallops but tried the seafood platter which was amazing! I always sit at the bar since I travel for work and all staff are super friendly.

It's easy to miss this place but WOW it's a gem!!! Great service and fantastic food. It's tiny inside and the tables are very close together but it's worth it to eat this food. Highly recommend.

What a surprise on our inaugural visit to this small yet delightful restaurant. I had the PEI Mussels in the most delicious lobster sauce. The taste of these fantastic mussels was exceeded only by this exquisite sauce. All of this while experiencing the exemplary service of our server...she was so well informed and professional. I'll return to TOPSAIL.

Fresh, savory, & delicious seafood. Heavy crad meat was in every spoon of the she crab soup. The lobster devil eggs are a must try. I don't care for hush puppies, but the sweet spin on them made them very tasty. Also, the mix drinks are definitely worth just coming back to hang out for casual drinks. I had jalapeño margaritas with extra spice. My main course was the Seafood Platter cheesy grits, lobster, shrimp crab-cakes, and asparagus. 8 out 10 We shall be back. Staff Hats off ?

The best meal we had in the 3 days in Mt. Pleasant. If you haven't been, you need to go. Delicious chowder, and Mahi dinner. Roasted brussels are fabulous. Complimentary hushpuppies are wonderful. A very tight menu that is well executed. Kudos to the chef for curating the menu. Friendly atmosphere. A gem for the Mt. Pleasant area. Will be our go-to when were are here.
