This was quite literally the worst service I have ever had. The employees could not have been slower if they tried, completely incompetent. We ordered a passion dragon fruit smoothie, an açaí bowl, and a cali breakfast flatbread. Our experience took over 45 minutes and after eventually receiving our food the flatbread only included 3 out of the 6 ingredients. It only came with cheese, eggs, and COLD chicken. My husband is an avid tropical smoothie goer and we will never be returning to this franchise, at least this one in particular.

My smoothies were all watered down upon arrival (10 mins away). I spoke with one of the workers and she said it happens when it sits. I have been to multiple tropical cafes and had my smoothies sit for 10-15 mins and never had a problem with them being watery. I can understand 1 being a little watered down but not all of them. Very disappointing and we are on our family vacation too.

UPDATE:
I spoke with the Manager Denzel and he apologized for the lack of services rendered by the staff. He took my information down and told me to come back before we go home from vacation to get my smoothies remade. Thanks to Denzel my family and I were able to enjoy our smoothies while riding home!!
Since Denzel (the manager) was able to rectify the mess up I am changing my review from 1 ⭐️ to 4 ⭐️s

Smoothie was awful. Not blended well and had a watery taste. Asked for NO bananas and it was definitely in there. I threw it away. This place used to be great, I don't know what happened.

Brought my 6 year old and 3 year old here for smoothies. The young lady making our smoothie actually said, “I don’t actually know how to make smoothies for real.” Run by children with no sense of urgency and zero customer orientation or communication skills. Sitting around sipping smoothies but not making any for the paying customers. Bummer experience.

I don’t eat their food much but what I’ve had was really good but they’re smoothies are great. Never had a problem. The manager is super nice.

I recently visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and the food was absolutely delicious! The smoothies were fresh and flavorful, and the wraps were perfectly made. The overall ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Evangeline, who took my order, was incredibly professional and friendly. She made sure everything was just right and added a personal touch to the experience. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail really stood out. Overall, I highly recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe for both the amazing food and the excellent service.

Don’t go to this Tropical Smoothie, this used to be one of my favorite places to get a smoothie. This was awhile ago, I ordered a sunrise sunset, it looked very good but once I tried to have a sip it was frozen and I tried to drink it later of course it was frozen. I’m not sure if they hired some new people because this smoothie place used to be really good. As a loyal customer here in the past, I won’t be going here at all. The cashier was nice , but whoever is making the smoothies they should ether be fired or get training. I get it, that people got to make a living. I for one like never complain unless it’s very disappointing. This smoothie place is going downhill fast. I feel bad for the customers , especially the ones having a smoothie here. If anyone wants their smoothie frozen then go right ahead. I hope this makes a huge difference for this smoothie for the future. I know I didn’t ask for another smoothie as a replacement because I had a bad feeling that it would be frozen also.

As a doordasher after checking the pick up area and asking the employees multiple times for my customers order I was finally able to get 15 minutes after it should have been. The staff seemed very disorganized.

I think this is the right location we stopped in on the way back to n Myrtle beach , the music was so loud we had a hard time ordering, I am 62 , the music wasn’t appealing to customers, it should be easy listening, no rap no , hard rock , no culture targeted music , we had to leave after ordering because it was not bearable to enjoy the smoothies there young people shouldn’t be in charge have a set. Music and leave it alone , this unit was on Hwy 17 in a shopping center with a Mc Donald’s facing 17 , I have to go to MUSC to drs , please change the music and turn it down I will not shout to place an order I will walk out

I'm a regular customer at any Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I love the one by the Tanger Outlet.....always perfection on food, customer service, and smoothies. Yet, because of me rushing for work, I always come to this one. I've been disappointed with the smoothies and food each time. I keep going back because I hope a different worker is better than the one before. Today, I ordered my usual, a hummus veggie wrap and mango magic smoothie with Xtra mangoes and sweetener. It seems as if I pay for the Xtra, but NEVER gets it with my smoothie. My hummus veggie, the rice was raw, and it looked like it was already fixed and refrigerated....it was a mess and sloppy. VERY DISAPPOINTED ? now I'm at work with NO lunch

Look... If I order a smoothie and even tip $3, the least you can do is finish making it. Don't stand at the register with my smoothie half made in the blender while taking someone else's order while both you and the new customer is talking and probably spraying into my half made smoothie.
Just finish one customer at a time. I was here first and you already started on mine. SMH!
