Tropical Smoothie Cafe

1st and last time coming to this place. I walked in and it immediately smelled weird, like their exhaust system isn't properly working.

I was the only customer in there, yet I waited about 10mins for 1 smoothie. The employee began preparing my smoothie WHILE texting on her cell phone - blender in one hand and her phone in the other hand while typing.
Once done on her phone, she put it in her pocket and kept making my smoothie - didn't wash her hands, didn't put gloves on, nothing. It made me STRONGLY question the quality of sanitation in here.

When it came time to pour my smoothie into a cup, she was distracted talking to her co-worker - laughing and potentially borderline spitting (while laughing) right over my exposed drink.

I'm completely dissatisfied by the service, sanitation and, again, the odor - the smell of this place even seemed to linger on my clothes and hair when I got home.

Sullivan was very helpful my smoothie was tasty.

I come in here a couple times a week early morning and the guy working is great but he's alone and hate to say it but I wait at least 10 to 12 minutes for a peanut butter cup. while other employees sit and watch him work, please make that make sense to me. I'll give it a three star because the guy working is super nice and friendly that that's the only reason.

Absolutely love tropical smoothies taste of smoothies however this location is ridiculous. I go in frequently, and today was definitely the last. Ordered a multiple smoothies and food waited 20 minutes got the smoothies, when I asked about the food and he proceeded to blame another employee and when I said it’s okay, can I just get a refund cause we have a time crunch.. the kid said sorry none of us know how to do a refund. Not blaming the teenager workers, there certainly is just no management happening here.

This was quite literally the worst service I have ever had. The employees could not have been slower if they tried, completely incompetent. We ordered a passion dragon fruit smoothie, an açaí bowl, and a cali breakfast flatbread. Our experience took over 45 minutes and after eventually receiving our food the flatbread only included 3 out of the 6 ingredients. It only came with cheese, eggs, and COLD chicken. My husband is an avid tropical smoothie goer and we will never be returning to this franchise, at least this one in particular.

My smoothies were all watered down upon arrival (10 mins away). I spoke with one of the workers and she said it happens when it sits. I have been to multiple tropical cafes and had my smoothies sit for 10-15 mins and never had a problem with them being watery. I can understand 1 being a little watered down but not all of them. Very disappointing and we are on our family vacation too.

UPDATE:
I spoke with the Manager Denzel and he apologized for the lack of services rendered by the staff. He took my information down and told me to come back before we go home from vacation to get my smoothies remade. Thanks to Denzel my family and I were able to enjoy our smoothies while riding home!!
Since Denzel (the manager) was able to rectify the mess up I am changing my review from 1 ⭐️ to 4 ⭐️s

Smoothie was awful. Not blended well and had a watery taste. Asked for NO bananas and it was definitely in there. I threw it away. This place used to be great, I don't know what happened.

Made me pay again to remake my açaí bowl after they put coconut shavings even though l asked
Them not to and I’m allergic . I will not be back.

Brought my 6 year old and 3 year old here for smoothies. The young lady making our smoothie actually said, “I don’t actually know how to make smoothies for real.” Run by children with no sense of urgency and zero customer orientation or communication skills. Sitting around sipping smoothies but not making any for the paying customers. Bummer experience.

I don’t eat their food much but what I’ve had was really good but they’re smoothies are great. Never had a problem. The manager is super nice.

I recently visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and the food was absolutely delicious! The smoothies were fresh and flavorful, and the wraps were perfectly made. The overall ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Evangeline, who took my order, was incredibly professional and friendly. She made sure everything was just right and added a personal touch to the experience. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail really stood out. Overall, I highly recommend Tropical Smoothie Cafe for both the amazing food and the excellent service.

Don’t go to this Tropical Smoothie, this used to be one of my favorite places to get a smoothie. This was awhile ago, I ordered a sunrise sunset, it looked very good but once I tried to have a sip it was frozen and I tried to drink it later of course it was frozen. I’m not sure if they hired some new people because this smoothie place used to be really good. As a loyal customer here in the past, I won’t be going here at all. The cashier was nice , but whoever is making the smoothies they should ether be fired or get training. I get it, that people got to make a living. I for one like never complain unless it’s very disappointing. This smoothie place is going downhill fast. I feel bad for the customers , especially the ones having a smoothie here. If anyone wants their smoothie frozen then go right ahead. I hope this makes a huge difference for this smoothie for the future. I know I didn’t ask for another smoothie as a replacement because I had a bad feeling that it would be frozen also.

As a doordasher after checking the pick up area and asking the employees multiple times for my customers order I was finally able to get 15 minutes after it should have been. The staff seemed very disorganized.
