Vickery's Bar & Grill

My friend and I went for a couple of drinks and sat at the Shark Finbar out on the patio. Len was our bartender, and he was great!! He made us both an OG Orange Crush with fresh squeezed orange juice. Perfection!!

We've visited Vickery's Bar & Grill twice now - each time sampling several items and cocktails.

I want to start off with BIG positives:

-They have the BEST fried green tomatoes I've ever tasted, and I've tried a lot. What a treat! They also have fried plantains (maduros) on the menu which will keep me coming back. (can we get con gris on the menu??)

-The view is gorgeous - especially when you can overlook the marsh at sunset.

-The staff - host, servers, and bartenders are friendly, attentive pros who took excellent care of us. Thank you all!

-We were seated quickly each time with no wait.

-Everything we've tried so far has been ok. Nothing bad.

I have a passion for good cocktails and honestly, they're just not good. I've tried several and a house margarita. They were all overly sweet, artificial, watered down, not tasty. (Just my opinion)

If you want to grab a sandwich, share some friend green tomatoes, and have a beer or sparkling wine - then you'll be satisfied!

The fried flounder sandwich with jalapeño tarter has always been a favorite. They changed to bread and lettuce and tomato were weak. French fries and gravy wimpier than it used to be but flavor spot on. Will continue to come back!

Don’t eat here. Bourbon pasta means buttered noodles with Parmesan cheese. Bacon cheeseburger….no slices of real bacon, you get bacon bits (for $2). This place sucks. And you may not get a top bun with your burger.

Just have to say, wow! Brandon literally has the savant palette!
We were unsure of what to get, described what we liked and wanted, and he hit our tastes DEAD ON twice in a row! Absolutely wonderful service and excited to make sure our experience was the best it could be.
Gave great recommendations for the next stop, while making the current one the best it could be.
Highly recommend him for your bartender, and would visit time and time again for his recommendations and suggestions!

Saw a beautiful sunset from the deck while enjoying a good meal. Our server, Brandon, was excellent. Parking is validated for 3 hours if you park in the right space and follow the steps. Another great incentive to dine there!

Great place for a beach vibe. Downstairs a good bar and upstairs food. Inside and outside with a view of the shrimp boats and beautiful nature. Usually a few parking spaces available.

The manager ruined what used to be the best spot in Mt Pleasant! The bar staff was awesome and they made the atmosphere what it was. It felt like home. And they were all run off. It is obvious the new ownership does not care about this restaurant and does not care that they've lost the business of the regulars...those that keep your lights on during the off season.

. I really like this place . We go on Sundays when we are in Charleston. The service is fantastic, We had ebony the last time we were there and she was very sweet knowledgeable right on top of everything. I'm cut everything from the crab kick sandwich to the oyster platter to wings and chicken tenders... And have never been disappointed. The view is beautiful whether you eat inside or out if you get a view of the Dock and water . They also validate your parking, And it seems every place in Charleston now charges to park so this is a great thing. A holly recommend... And ask for ebony.

The shrimp is as good as you would expect with a view of a shrimp boat - so fresh and perfectly prepared.
