Today I took my family to the Mount Pleasant Waffle House and what a treat! I haven't been to a Waffle House in yeeeeeears, but tonight was the night!
...And I am so thankful I did.
Mr. Frank treated all four of my kids like royalty and every one of them felt cared for and served well. He did such an amazing job, my 11 year old and 9 year old quietly urged me to give him a good tip when he walked away (and they are not easily won over). While he did an excellent job at the table, Raheem quietly worked the grills and reminded me why Waffle House is an American Icon. Raheem piled food on our plates, plates on our table and left us feeling stuffed and happy.
And Ms. D was the icing on the cake. Her bright smile, sweet singing, and song play on the speakers left my girls dancing in their seats after they gobble down their tasty meal. What a special night with my kids.
Waffle House is one-of-a-kind and the Mount Pleasant location embodies why this brand is so well loved.

I have gone in here for a while on Sunday evenings. The guys who work there were very polite and attentive to me. But one there is one lady who has been very rude to me. She was my hostess one night. She spoke over me about my order, and my order was totally wrong. I'll give her a few more chances, maybe she will change.

Came with a party of four, to-go. Marley decides to take everyone’s order in my party, except mines and tells me Carl will take my order. Marley then walks to the other side of the diner and takes someone else’s order. A few minutes later, Carl takes my order. I only ordered a burger, while the rest of my party ordered full meals. My food took 10-15 more minutes AFTER the rest of my party had already received their food! My food was sitting on the counter, while no one brought it to me! Finally after getting Marley’s attention, my brother asked them to just pass me my food! I’m not even from here, this is the WORST service I’ve received while visiting this city this week!! Will NEVER return nor recommend this location to anyone!
