How we managed not to go here for so long confounds us. The major selling point is definitely the view. It's just gorgeous. However, the food is also quite good, as is the friendly service. The two highlights were the fried oysters and the roast chicken. Both were really good. The blackened flounder and the fish & chips were pretty good too. There is corn hole, live music some nights (the singer we had was excellent) and just an overall relaxing feel, a little like you are on vacation. Well worth a visit!

Came here for lunch with a group. The service was excellent, and had I had absolutely no problem with the wait staff or anyone else in the restaurant. We sat outside and the view was absolutely amazing! However, their menu is extremely limited, so it would be a good idea to check and make sure you eat the kind of food that they serve before you go there. I didn’t see anything that I would like to eat, so I went with a small salad, which I was told would be a pretty good size along with some chicken. I got a smaller than side sized salad with a few pieces of chicken, which totaled about $20. Now, I don’t really fuss about what things cost, but $20 for that meal was not worth it at all.

Generally go here for the view, Wando Rvr on a nice breezy evening is hard to beat. Especially w/Good food & plenty of drinks offered, mixed, tea, soda, etc. etc.

Sunday dinner with my husband, not busy at all. Got seated right away inside with a nice view and cold beer. Order the Buffalo Oysters which were fabulous, crispy topped with blue cheese crumbles and a nice presentation. Our server was also fabulous. We were looking forward to a great meal. After that the meal QUICKLY WENT DOWNHILL. We both ordered the market fish which was Snapper. It came out pan sautéed with a crisp exterior but unfortunately was overdone and absolutely no seasoning. No salt, no anything so it was dry and flavorless. My husbands side of green beans were crunchy and raw and his mashed potatoes were both unseasoned and bland. My side of succotash was hard undercooked limas and corn that was under seasoned and just not appealing at all. I am extreme vegetable fan so I was very disappointed. My extra side of brussel sprouts looked good and were crispy but were hard as a rock inside and again absolutely no seasoning of any kind, no salt, no pepper, no balsamic glaze, nothing! Entrees at $30 each were a complete disappointment. What could have been delicious entrees if executed properly were a disaster. I feel certain the head chef and owner would be extremely embarrssed to have served these dishes. I will try them another time in hopes that it was just an untrained or inferior cook in the kitchen that night and maybe this review will bring attention to the issues we experienced.

Fantastic evening on the Wando. The staff is young but they aim to please. Young manager has been pulling this team together. Live music enchanted us until she finished (Savannah Grace). We had a great evening…thank you wando grill team
The food was amazing and loved the outdoor music 🎶 shout out to Kathy patty I will be back if she is performing again. Very party and family oriented and is worth the drive and visit!!

We took a baseball team and families in without notice and our server rounded up a whole team of servers and made the visit memorable. Food was absolutely on schedule and a great taste. Firecracker shrimp tacos and the smash burgers were the best you could want! GREAT JOB‼️👍👍⚾️
