Food good .but ours wasn't hot.Our Grandaughters Birthday no cake or ice cream .Waitress was made aware so was front desk she said tell your server we did. Still no cake

Good food and good atmosphere. Appetizers were lettuce wraps and tempura shrimp - both tasted good and were good portions. Hibachi had good portions.

I have to edit my review now after all these years. I feel the food quality has really gone down hill and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the lack of workers maybe it’s lack of motivation… Anyway I ordered pad Thai for the first time in a little while and they completely changed the recipe. It almost was like eating stir fry noodles instead of pad Thai. There was no more tangy or nutty flavor, it was so greasy I honestly feel sick now. (The grease was literally leaking out!) not only that but I ordered the lunch portion and they charged me for the dinner portion but gave me lunch portion. And it wasn’t even what pad Thai should taste like.
What were once my favorite sushi rolls, although are still better than grocery store tier, completely lack their usual flavors and feel bland. The wait times have only increased inside the restaurant, and my order has constantly been wrong especially when ordering online for take out. The prices keep rising and the food just isn’t worth it to me anymore. Now they even charge for using a credit card. It’s sad but I think anyone who reads this review is better off going to the Daniel Island location which has never disappointed me the 15 plus years I’ve gone there.

Please don't waste your time or money. Way too expensive for the worst asian good I've had in a while. The sushi rolls and udon noodles were barely palatable. Our server was nice and have us what we needed, he just not personable. He dropped things off and ran away.

I’m not sure if the sushi chef has been changed but the sushi rolls were not the same. Thinner portions of mango or meat inside rolls. Calamari is getting smaller portions each visit. Barely any sauce on top and just dry calamari. Spoke to management many times in past and nothing changes. Very disappointed, been coming over 5 years and never as good as the first time.

Also paid cash, why was I charged $1.90 for a credit card payment when I paid cash?! Your mistake you took out of server tips, shame on you. She was amazing and you stole from her.

Been at least 50x and tonight was absolutely horrible. Let’s start with the fact they didn’t have any of the beverages we ordered. Ordered a bottle of wine and brought the wrong one, then they didn’t have the one we ordered and opened a much more expensive bottle without asking. Appetizer had hardly any of the sauce it should have, asked for more. Soy sauce was out. Ordered and never saw anyone again to check on us until after a long wait it arrived cold. True that sushi should be cold but my dish was terrible, soggy, over saturated with spice and the shrimp were way overcooked with the poop hanging out. Nasty. The DI roll we get EVERY time was not correct. Mostly rice with fishy tuna, no sauce again, a sliver of avocado and fell apart. To top it all off.. no toilet paper or paper towels… Never again

I do not recommend this place. The food quality is poor and to go order was completely wrong. I called to speak with the manager that had no idea how to handle a customer concern. There are MANY better choices in the area to eat.

we take grandkids to wasabi in Mt P a couple times a year. They go to the nine in DI a lot so they know the menu. Last time we were there we had a great meal and experience. This time it was a total different story.

My husband ordered hot black tea and the waitress returned and told us they were all out of black tea. Apparently, ownership has changed and they are working through supply issues. So she encouraged green tea and when it came, it was disgusting. Unlike any green tea I’ve ever seen.

I ordered an Asian pear salad with grilled shrimp. The kids had bento boxes and my husband had pad Thai. when we got our meals, mine was missing. The waitress said they accidentally gave my meal to somebody else but that they would fix me another one. So by the time everybody else was done with their meal my dinner arrived. I told her to put it in a to go bag and i would take it home. Of course they took it off the menu. In terms of the quality of the food, my husband‘s pad Thai was dry and not very tasty. the California rolls were very heavy rice and very little avocado. The only meal that was really good was my grandson’s teriyaki chicken. We did have an excellent shrimp appetizer. The waitress did her best but it’s hard to cover up kitchen mistakes although she tried as did the GM.

So tonight I decided to eat my Asian pear salad and when I opened it up, I realized there were no pears and it was not an Asian pear salad. It was a salad with onions. Really disappointing. We will not go back anytime soon.

I was from out of town, and my cousin took me to Wasabi for lunch. Fantastic food and great service!
