Waters Edge was the perfect location for our private event. The food was great, service was excellent, and major shout outs go to Britt and Kirsten for making it all possible!

Great restaurant with incredible views of Shem Creek with free parking. Amy our waitress was extremely attentive and super pleasant and the food was awesome. we had the fish and chips, the pasta and vegetables and chicken tenders and everything was just perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Oyster were tiny

Local here. Water's Edge used to be only known for their their incredible happy hour and the views. After owner/management changes with a new chef, I can say that it will soon be known for their food. If you haven't been in the last 2 years, you owe it to yourself to try it out.

Right now my favorite is the salmon BLT. I've ordered it several times in the last few months just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It might be the juiciest, dare I say perfectly cooked moist salmon filet I've had, rivalling dishes from the fancy places. The candied bacon adds an incredible crunch with flavor. The caper-lime remoulade enhances the other flavors with a nice tartness.

The new version of the fish and chips is noteworthy as well. The fries have changed for the better. I don't take photos of food, so here's one from their website. Dang it now I'm hungry

We had an amazing brunch at Waters Edge on Shem Creek today! From the moment we were seated, the experience was great. Our server, Amy, was absolutely incredible as she was friendly, attentive, personableand made us feel so welcome. We are locals and we rarely go Shem Creek during the season but it was very relaxing and they didn’t rush us.

We started with the beignets, which were warm, fluffy, and the perfect start to brunch. The Bloody Mary bar was outstanding with lots of garnishes (loved the pickled okra) and a great way to kick off the meal. For entrées, we tried the Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict and the Denver Omelette, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared.

Of course, the view of Shem Creek is unbeatable. Sitting by the water created the perfect relaxing atmosphere, and to top it off, they even validated parking.

Between the great food, amazing service, and beautiful setting, we will definitely be back.

Food was fantastic once we finally got it. There was one server for the whole patio and he did the best he could, but had no help. Could be a great place but the management needs to step up.

I wish i could give 0 stars for the upstairs. We came to the restaurant all wearing bathing suit covers that were more coverage than some shirts that girls wear. We were told by the bar down stairs to go upstairs to the restaurant. When we got upstairs to the restaurant they told us we weren’t allowed in. They don’t communicate at all. To add to that, the bathroom was upstairs so we still had to walk through the restaurant multiple times to use the restroom. When we got back downstairs, troop was more than willing to accommodate our group. He was amazing! He was attentive, fun, and made up for what happened upstairs. We will come back but only if we are downstairs.
