I spent around $50 on food for my family at this Wendy’s, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food itself was mediocre at best—stale bread on the small burgers, average fries, and the only decent items were the nuggets and my son’s Dave’s Double.

The real issue was the complete lack of accountability and the attitude from the staff.

I wasn’t given a receipt at the drive-through, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. I even asked the drive-through employee to confirm everything was in the bag, and she assured me it was.

When I got home and handed out everyone’s food, my chicken wrap was missing.

So I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant just to get what I had already paid for. When I explained the situation to the employees inside, the first thing they asked for was the receipt—the same receipt they never gave me.

Instead of owning the mistake or trying to help, multiple employees immediately insisted they “specifically remembered” putting the wrap in the bag. In other words, they were implying I was lying over a $5 sandwich. No apology, no concern, no attempt to make it right.

I ended up leaving without the food I paid for, and with the clear message that this location has zero customer service and no interest in resolving their own mistakes.

After this experience, I won’t be returning to this Wendy’s for a long time—if ever.

Noone was in front of me and I still had to wait 6 min to make my order. When I said hello, the guy said Hold On. And made me wait another 3 min.

3 plan hamburgers for our dogs, 2 chicken sandwiches, one large fry. No drinks. $42.00! The fries where cold and greasy. The chicken was the same,like it had been laying around all day. I know it's just fast food but really? We don't eat much fast food, but were in a hurry.

I should’ve read the comments before going to this location as I usually frequent the Wendy’s on Long Point Road (I’ve left them a 5 star review as I have never had any issues), however, I was in this area. I ordered a strawberry frosty and when I asked if they could top it off? The young lady at the drive through was quick to respond “That’s how they come ma’am”. I am reviewing because it’s getting exhausting paying for things to look like the photos advertised and it’s the complete opposite or not even close to another Wendy’s, right down the street. I am happy that you chose to come to work, as we definitely need fast food workers. I just wish you cared more to be kind and understand the importance of customer satisfaction. Especially when they are kind and pleasant towards you. Kindness goes a long way. Needless to say, I will stay going to Long point Road and Johnnie Dodds for my frosty and food orders. My older coworker was content nonetheless although she said she rather I had just gotten her money back, after seeing it lol.. anyways, 5 stars for the atmosphere as Mount Pleasant is beautiful .. Thank you anyway!

Food was pretty good. but a small classic chocolate frosty took 15 minutes with very low traffic. Worth the wait but slightly irritating.

Gave us regular fries when we ordered baconator fries, and when we were told they didnt have the coffee we ordered, they didnt offer a substitute or a refund.

After waiting 20 minutes for my food, I asked if I could get a refund. They told me yes and then made me wait another 10 minutes just so they could say they couldn’t give me a refund because they already made the food. Worst employees I’ve ever seen and for sure the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. Management is non existent here

How low does the bar go? I gotta say something about my last 2 experiences at the Chuck Dawley Wendy’s. I actually can’t wait until robots make me a delicious hamburger. The staff here didn’t give a care about my order or the food quality. They ignored my requests, rounded up and kept the change, and I was very hungry but I couldn’t even eat the burger it tasted so bad.
I’m not going to eat here anymore.

I admit that I have not been to a fast food restaurant in the states for several years however, I cannot remember seeing a restaurant that was in more need of a pressure wash for every surface.

Some of the employees here seem to hate their job but at least they came in to work. One of the girls in the back was rude to me. Tables in the section where I sat were filthy and employees not really worried about cleaning it even when they weren't busy. Bathrooms could have been cleaned better but I've seen worse. Food was good, though. No complaints there.
