Amazing beers and super accomodating and helpful staff. We arrived here late on a Saturday, just about 30 minutes before closing time. The servers were both amazing and didn't make us feel rushed at all. We had a flight of beers after discussing various options from their large selection. Everything was delicious, and we bought some to bring home and share. Will return on a future visit.

The beers at Westbrook fall into two categories: liquid malt, and liquid candy. A flight isn't cheap but the most economical way to go here. Service is just a 1-person counter. A bit echoey of a spot to hang out. Outdoor seating but not shaded, it's no beer garden.

Very good beer. They have a good variety. I like the Mexican cake.

I loved the beer here and can't wait for Key Lime Pi to come back out in March. The white Thai was really good, and I liked the beer to drink when it's hot outside. The actual taproom wasn't that big.

Amazing beer. Peniminal tasting room at brewery. Friendly staff. What's not to like? This place is KING OF GOSE style beer. That is a sour beer with hint of saltiness. You either love gose or hate it. They offer many varieties of gose and I love them all. Mexican Cake is best chocolate stout with hot chillies that I have ever had. Extremely well balanced. They have multiple varieties. Original is superb. Antigua is a blend of their 2014-2020 Mexican cakes blanded together and is the best version in my opinion. The Tennessee Whiskey version is a bit too hot in alcohol. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop for a drink.

Very mid brewery. The bartenders didn’t welcome us or help us out with choosing beers. The beers were alright but nothing to rave about, we didn’t finish our flights. I think it would have been different if the bartenders gave better service. Especially being in the service industry I expected better service for the quality of the establishment.

Westbrook makes great beer, but their taproom had a lot to desire. There were loose cleaning supplies lying around, bathrooms that were filthy and the server when we went on a Sunday, who appeared to just want everyone in the taproom to leave. The taproom had a good 20 people in it, and the bartender called last call about 45 minutes before close. I saw a customer come in a few minutes after she called last call. He tried to order a beer and she refused him one. This is terrible for such an out-of-the-way taproom. I felt so bad for the guy, that I got up and figured I'd buy him a beer on my last-call order so that he wouldn't have a bad experience. When I try to order a last call round, the bartender informed me that she had closed the tabs for everyone in the taproom and wasn't letting anyone else order a beer. THAT IS NOT WHAT A LAST CALL IS. LAST CALL MEANS YOU CAN ORDER ANOTHER LAST ROUND. What if people wanted to buy merch? Buy a four-pack? They'd have to reopen a tab because of this terrible lady. I was so upset at her lack of customer service, that this poor guy couldn't purchase a beer, and all I wanted to do is never drink another Westbrook beer ever again for having such a bad taproom experience. Customer ALWAYS comes first and there is a severe lack of training in that taproom. What a shame.

Great beers. They’re edging pastry but it’s still solid beer. Quite the compound you’ll with their heavy distribution. My wife said their women’s restroom could use a touch up.

Easily the best brewery in the entire Charleston area. We went to 12 during our weekend stay, and none were even close to having beer made with the quality as theirs. The depth, the flavors, the higher ABV options. Just awesome.

Their beer is generally fun, interesting, and tastes good. I always stop in when I'm in town.I purchased some four packs while there over the Christmas holiday. I had one four pack of Galaxy Hazy NE IPA that tasted off. I didn't think much of it but over the course of the past week, I couldn't seem to nail down why they were so malty and bad tasting... Until tonight. I flipped one of the cans over and it has a canned date of 5/6/22! They had IPAs in their cooler that were from May '22 at the end of Dec '22 (12/23/22 to be exact). The brewery has lost its ways and apparently fine selling products beer folk generally agree are well past their shelf life.I won't be stopping back in. If you're going to buy cans, check the canned date if you're not there for release days.
