We went there on Friday during lent for Seafood. It was not busy. Service was excellent. We split yellow tail scallion roll and a tuna roll for appetizer. They were fine for dinner. We both ordered the scallop hibachi. Presentation was very good. They've changed the recipe on the fried rice With new owners. If anything they gave us too much rice it was a loaf, pan size and really a waste the scallops they gave us 10 nice sized scallops cook perfectly. The show from the chef was good and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner and took enough home for another lunch or so.

On the 1-5 Scale - I give the Food a 5 / I give the Service and Staff a 6 Our party of 8 had reservations @ 6:30 on 3/9/24. (See Photos) We were early and all were greeted by smiling staff at the door and ushered to the bar. The barended was kind and knowledgeable. She made cocktail recommendations, one being Manhattans made with Japanese Bourbon which I understand from our Bourbon Connoisseur were excellent. At 6:30 on the dot we were ushered to our table where we were greeted by Savannah. We ordered Sushi Appetizers which arrived fresh & tasty. Our Hibachi Chef made it to our table & prepared 8 meals. He was friendly. attentive and knew his job - the entrees were very good. The restaurant was extremely busy however Superwoman Savannah found a way to check up on us a number of times during our meal. She even prepared each of our To-Go boxes with our take home Meal! Thank you & your staff Yamato!

So we actually didn’t eat the foodWe had a drink at the bar which was sticky and grossWhen o asked to have it cleaned the bartender said oh she hasn’t gotten to itSo we wait !We sit and we look straight ahead and there is a piece of chicken laying on the kitchen floor and the place looks filthyThere are no standards and a bunch of young people that haven’t been trained running the place

I wanted to come on here and give a good review after the great dinner my husband and I just had. The bad reviews some people left in the past almost deterred us, but we’re really glad we came here. It was quick, a lot of really good food, and the service was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall, a fun evening. Waited awhile for a chef which we expected. Shrimp was excellent, filet was good, chicken was decent, though you need to ask for white meat. Good soup, ok salad. Fun atmosphere. Recommend adding vegetables and/or eggs to the fried rice for more flavor.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
