Like, no joke. This location goes above and beyond!

So, around a *year* ago, I got a box of cookies from Crumbl. Unfortunately, it turns out the ants in my house love delicious cookies too and invaded my box.

I emailed the store and they were really generous. Even though the ant issue was 100% my fault and not theirs, they still valued my experience and told me the next time I came in they'd give me a free box!

I happen to come across a string of bad luck shortly after that and wasn't able to take them up on it. I lost my car and more...

One night, I remembered the offer of a free box of cookies and decided to ride my bike to the store and see if they'd still honor it. Just as I got there, they locked to door (lol). They were kind and let me in anyway, and I honestly felt embarrassed asking to honor a free coupon from a year ago especially since they were closing.

They were so kind and told me I wasn't causing them any discomfort. They understood that life got hard for me and they still wanted me to have a good experience even if it was a year later.

Like, wow. They really cared a lot about me as an individual. They had no obligation to do any of the things they did to make my experience better. I ruined my cookies, I forgot about the free coupon for a year, I showed up as they were closing. They did absolutely nothing wrong, yet did everything they could to make things right for me.

“great selection of pastries. I have to say I did try the chicken pot pie and was really disappointed. Very dry and had an odd taste to it. a waste of $25. Ended up throwing it out. Never again. My husband does love the cookies.“

I called and we talked through what I wanted and Coccadotts made a cake that tasted amazing and the design was exponentially better than I could have imagined. “Trustworthy, delicious, and friendly bakery. Accommodating of milk, wheat, and nut allergies (kid 1) and egg allergy (kid two). They could pick from everything in the store. We had chocolate chip cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and bundt cakes. I would serve all of it to a crowd without hesitation. Highly recommend and we will probably be back before leaving town.“

“Stumbled across this little bakery heading back from the beach. I wasn’t in the mood to fight crowds or anything heavy to eat. I just wanted an iced cup of coffee/latte & bagel. What I got was exceptional service, cold latte, and delicious chicken salad on a flaky croissant. The extra politeness of the young girl who waited on me was a pleasant touch. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d certainly stop again. It’s very rare to get a great drink, sandwich and even better customer service all in one quick stop.“

In fact, I'll go out on a limb and say they're the best pretzels I've had, and growing up in NY and then living near Hanover, PA for several years I've had my share! And now we've been introduced to ElJay's pretzel buns which have become our "bread" of choice for burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and even just by themselves piping hot with some melted butter. “Great place for Tastee Cake brand treats and many other baked goods and bread choices. Bread is an average of$1 a loaf. Raisin bread, rolls, thick sliced bread etc. Some items in there are a little higher in price as they don't seem to be part of the outlet close to outdated items....new deliveries come in every night so first thing in the morning would give you a better choice of popular items.“
