Stopped in for a nice lunch with my wife. She had a beautiful cut of Prime Rib which is always good at their restaurant. Unfortunately. I didn't want red meat and chose the flounder sandwich. BIG MISTAKE! It was the most disgusting tasting and smelling sandwich I was ever served in a restaurant. I took 2 bites, spit it out and sent it away. Of course, the restaurant refused to replace it with something else or refund the cost. Terrible customer service! There are many other restaurants in the area to go to, try them 1st

Ordered takeout. Burgers made to order perfectly. Fried flounder sandwich, steak quesadilla and soup/salad (loved the honey croissant) were delicious & well seasoned. Very tasty house dressing. Huge portions. Festive room. decorations. Would definitely return. Hopefully, I'll have enough time to done in.

Great lunch with a fantastic view of the Marshwalk and Murrell's Inlet. I had the flounder sandwich with the cheese mashed potatoes. Delicious.

This was our first time at J Peters and I would say it was a great choice. The service was fast and attentive. I had seen a couple comments comparing this place to California dreaming, I can agree to an extent. For similarities, I would say the menu is a bit small and that they have Croissants as an appitizer but overall I think the food was much higher quality and more flavorful than California Dreaming. Each of our dishes came with a side salad, that also came with a croissant, the salad alone was filling and very fresh. The sweet tea was perfect southern sweet, my Fried Chicken was very flavorful and juicy, it comes with a side if Mashed potatoes and a side of your choice, but because most of the sides are just other styles of potatoes (baked potato, French fries, loaded Mashed potatoes, queso smothered Mashed potatoes) I just doubled up on potatoes. The price is a little on the higher side but for the portions and taste of it all I would say it was worth it.

Always outstanding food and service!
Ribs and loaded mashed potatoes were outstanding. One member of our party was in a wheel chair and the staff was very accommodating.

Jamie our server Dec 6th was fantastic! A party of 12 which she handle with grace and ease! Smiled! Personable! Above and beyond service! She was fantastic! The food came in a timely matter and was fantastic! Delicious! Thank you Jamie for making our afternoon great!
