My husband and I went there for dinner . We usually come here once in a while. The waitress was very nice. My husband ordered meatloaf. Omg it was like eating hungry man frozen meal it was horrible. You couldn't tell me that was homemade. For 16 plus dollars. I was very upset he couldn't eat it.. now I had the fish and chips. Now that was very good.. I give a rating of 4 because the waitress was very nice. Oh and what is this extra charge If you use a card.

Im sorry guys y'all have your regular crowd that's all u got ate here twice in three days while working in the area I see now why all the folks at bar are drinking the food is less than desirable I ordered quesadilla and steak with jalapeños on the side lol got it with a ton of jalapeños in every bite and I asked for sala she said they were out lmao really... came I two nights ago got the seafood supreme dish which was ok shrimp and fish burnt but whatever I'm sitting here now with an empty beer I guess I'll have to beg for a bill yep I did Just if y'all want to drink go there no one had any food at the bar and the Tatoo queen ain't no bartender

I love coastal ale house. Their trivia on Wednesday's is the best trivia I've been to in the conway area. However, there is one sour spot. I went in on a slow Saturday night and Ashley was my bartender. It was not busy, but she was in shambles. There were about 20 people in the whole restaurant, and Ashley did not know where drinks or food were going. She charged me for Fries that were "coming", but I never got them.I paid for them, I didn't feel like arguing about the price because she seemed so stressed and confused with the computer. I love Coastal Ale House, but Ashley Is not a bartender I want to see here again. Come see Spencer on Wednesday's for trivia, but avoid the bar if Ashley's there.

I had to get my cat neutered at the nearby vet, which, like anybody, makes me want to drink tons of alcohol at two in the afternoon. At least the prices at ale house are cheap. I'm pretty sure our server was drunk but that just adds to the fun! They probably won't remember my 10% tip. As a seafood lover, I caved and got the mussels. I wondered if the local rat running around the kitchen has made them like in that movie Ratatouille. SO COOL!My hubby showed up after I had like 7 drinks, and was clearly annoyed. But that was simply because he was craving some hot juicy meat in his mouth. He ordered a burger with fries, and after eating it, looked entirely sedated. Mission accomplished. As all the Mexicans who live in the hotels right outside would say, MUY BEUNO! Highly recommend this place.

Ok.. I have read some of the negative reviews!!! All I can say is I am very picky! Went there today for first time.... everything was great! Friendly great service,, delicious food, and a great atmosphere!! Can't really complain about anything!!! Soooo.... give it a try!!! It definitely is better then the three and a half stars! I try not to address prices anymore because all restaurants are struggling to survive!! But prices comparable with places like this... and portions were very nice size! I will be back!!!!

We have been going to Coastal Ale for over ten years. I will not be going back. We arrived at 3:00 pm for a early supper. As we entered the chalk board by the door advertised the special which was Caesar Wrap 10.99. We sat at a table witch was not clean. I just took a napkin and wiped it down. When the waitress came to get our drink order of unsweet tea and a Yuengling draft they were out of unsweet tea.?? When my beer came it was not cold. It was cool but not cold as draft should be. My wife ordered the special that was posted out front but was told that's only for lunch. We ordered two Ale House burgers medium well served with chips or fries. The burgers were closer to rare. The big killer was when the bill came to 40 bucks for 2 burgers and fries and a 4 dollar beer that was not cold. I gave them 2 Stars because the staff was very nice.

Stayed at the hotel nearby for work and stopped over here for some food and drinks. I got the best waitresses I could ever ask for Caroline and Rebecca were awesome. Very knowledgeable and had the best recommendations! If you're in the area I highly recommend that you stop by and check out the Carolina ale House!
Best local Pub in the area. Friendly staff and even friendlier customers. Best garlic-parm wings in the Myrtle Beach area bar none. Actually, I would rather you''all stay away, that way it will be easier for me to get in when I want to, LOL.

Having been a patron for over 15 years very disappointed over the shady billing of an additional 4% for use of a credit card without authorization or letting the customer know, also routine addition of tips to the bill. They have also jacked up the prices cut the portions just a bit shady for a long time business in our neighborhood. Very disappointed will be moving down the road.

Coastal Ale House is about as classic as it gets when it comes to a college bar. Ample bar seating and plenty of booths and tables inside/outside make for a great environment for watching games on the multiple TVs or just having a meal with friends. The staff is all kind and knowledgeable and prices aren't too bad. They recently went up, but by a typical amount that matches everywhere else in the current climate. Hidden gem on the menu is the seared tuna sandwich. I didn't believe it either when I heard it, but trust me!

Put in a take- out order based on the new cash policy. Checked the online menu to make sure I had enough cash to pick up my order. Seems as though the online menu prices are not the in- store prices. When I questioned the bill, no explanation. I guess there are no other restaurants in Conway. Will find one because I will never return to Coastal Ale House.
