Showed up after craby mikes was packed. Expected the same, it was nowhere close…
The food was super bland and expensive for what it is. I ended up filling up on watermelon and salad because it was the only thing that was good. Also friends of mine ordered off the menu thinking it wouldn’t be as much as the buffet and was charged as if they got the buffet. And to top it all off the bathrooms were filthy. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

We went for dinner after reading the reviews. That was a mistake. This is NOT seafood, the seafood from a Chinese buffet is better than this. The atmosphere was ok, but if I am at the beach and spending $60 a person, it would be nice to have a water view. If you like crab legs and only crab legs then this may be a good spot for you. I will definitely continue to go to Hilton Head, Charleston, Captain D's or Red Lobster for better seafood.

Ben was our server. He was amazing! I ordered the chicken tenders and mac and cheese. Both lacked flavor. The husband ordered the lobster buffet. He was happy with that. The sea noises that go off every 15 mins was annoying.

The crab legs are delicious! Everything else is okay. The price is ridiculously high. We had 8 people. 6 of them were children and ours was $320. Was it worth $320? No, definitely not. But the animatronic ocean friends are wonderful for kids!

I wanted to add my review because we saw so many good things and then bad reviews that we were skeptical about going here but glad we did. Hands down five star restaurant!!! We took out kids here for their birthday and it was an amazing experience. The waiter was very nice. The food was amazing! Wide variety of seafoods, crab legs were great, favorite comfort foods and the steak was perfectly cooked (not well done, great job). Could have used a little more seasoning but it was still good. I loved the animated sea creatures, the way it was decorated, family friendly and pleasant. We will definitely be making the two and a half hour drive back. The kids even got cake and they sang happy birthday to the kids!! Kids had a wonderful time!!!

My 2 star is for my server and because the food was decent. We had an amazing server. He was attentive and made sure we never had a table full of dishes and kept the drink filled. He was wonderful.

Food offered on the seafood buffet was basic, nothing to be excited about, the country boil pan was dried out and over cooked. A side item to order for our kiddo with ASD was $6.99 each. So a cup of Mac and cheese and a basket of fries was $14.98 plus tax. I didn't expect to pay $5.99 for a drink per person after paying for an all you can eat buffet. This is the first time a place charged that much for a drink and the buffet, and $6 at that. Also, I didn't expect the kid cup to also be the same price as us adults. There was also a $9.93 service charge on the bill which wasn't mentioned until the bill came. After tipping our awesome server 20% we spent $330 for 4 people and a Mac and cheese with fries meal. This particular meal and dining experience wasn't worth half of that.

The animatronics went off one time out of our whole time there. We were there over an hour. The menu states it will go off every 15 minutes which is wildly inaccurate. The server claimed they had zero control over it. This place cannot compare to other themed dining experiences like Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex with their themed dining and fully functioning animatronics. If your animatronics do not work properly, just say that. This place could be epic if they put the work in and fixed their animatronics.

While we were dining a staff member came up and asked to take our photos and would print them out for us. I thought that was really nice until he came back trying to sell us the photos just just told he he was printing out for us. He should be upfront about what he is doing. Not saying he is printing them out for us. He should just say what he is doing. Would you like a photo package? Don't mislead people with your words.

All in all, I will not go back to this place and I do not recommend it. It was boring, bland, and misleading. To each their own, but if you want an upbeat energy with delicious food and not waste your money, go to Broadway at the Beach and pick a restaurant there.
