my husband and I came tonight with our friends and we had a wonderful dinner. Our server was Emma and she was just delightful and on top of everything she gave us excellent service and we will definitely be back. And the food is amazing. I had the crab nachos which are gigantic, and my husband had the French onion soup.

Had the opportunity to eat at Dead Dog while on vacation. Tony was our waiter, and he was absolutely phenomenal!!!!! The atmosphere was perfect.
I ordered scallops and risotto, and it was Great!! Would definitely recommend Dead Dog Saloon.

We’ve eaten here many times prior throughout the years bringing family and friends here, it’s always great too. Crab nachos tonight are excellent except I would hold off the mangos on my next order . It’s just my taste preference though. Had a cup of chili and it’s outstanding as well . Great food

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday and had no problem getting a table for 2. Although it might sound a little morbid, the atmosphere is endearing in a weird way with people that bring photos of their dead dogs and they hang them on the wall in memory. The place has indoor, outdoor, and covered outdoor seating options, we decided to go for the covered outdoor. You get plenty of great views of the Riverwalk just outside, and can go on a nice stroll after you've stuffed yourself with some BBQ. Staff was attentive and quick to take care of anything we needed.
We started with an order of hush puppies which comes with an amazing honey butter to spread on, I was in heaven and could have just had that for lunch (I also recommend dipping in BBQ sauce too, don't knock it till you try it). We then did their BBQ meat platters with pork, chicken and brisket with Mac and cheese, tater tots, sweet potato fries, and grilled veggies for our sides. The sauces really make the meats here, would have liked a little bit more flavor on their own, but the meat was at least still juicy and they give you plenty of it! Best side was definitely the mac and cheese.
Parking right in front can be a little tight, so you might need to use the larger lot across the street when it gets really busy.

Went there on a Tuesday afternoon. Sat at our table for 15 minutes with no service. Terrible service and no apology from the person who said she was the manager. Better places to eat in Murrells Inlet.
