We have been visiting this beach for years, and we have eaten a lot of seafood. This is not one of those places that charges extra for the view. It is a small place with Great seafood. We both ate the seafood platter. Everything was delicious. The entire platter was made with fresh seafood. The oysters were great, not dried up like most fried oysters come out at other places. My wife said that the fish was so fresh that she could taste the ocean when she ate it. Just like fresh fish should. We tried this place because they will treat a person to a free meal on their birthday. It was her birthday. I'm glad that we tried this place, whatever the reason was. We definitely loved the food.
So, if you are going out to eat because you want great food, this is a good choice.

I am very disappointed of this place. This is usually my family’s to go place. We’ve been coming for years. The service and food has been declining. My siblings and I took our mom there for her birthday and our waitress acted like she didn’t want to serve us. She kept asking my sisters’ questions regarding extra charges as if they couldn’t afford it. The food was lousy, it had no taste to it. The oyster Rockefeller was absolutely disgusting, as if they just threw whatever on top and barely cooked it. I don’t know if we caught them on a bad day, but we won’t be back anytime soon.

Shrimp was decent but that’s it. Horrible food and horrible service. Waited 40 minutes on our food.

We went here for my grandmothers birthday and our waiter was extremely rude. She also added gratuity of 20 % to our bill without notifying us. Every time we wanted to add something extra to our bill, she continued to ask us if we are sure we can afford it. We living in St. James plaza and used to visit this place often. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

This was the best meal I had while in Merrell’s Inlet. Great service and the waitress was so friendly and accommodating. I had the stuffed flounder. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back.

We usually frequent this restaurant every trip to MB! (2-3 times a year). The food is always good! But tonight! Service was AWFUL! It was just a Thursday night. We got there at 6:15 PM and they sat down with no wait. There was 5 adults and two kids!! It took awhile for the waitress to even take our drink order and then forever to come back and take our order! We wait OVER for our food!! We asked multiple times and she kept telling us we were 3rd ticket- or it would be 3 or 4 mins. When the food came out the baked potato’s were not done. Other than the service being awful! The food was good!!

Chicken& Shrimp Cajun Alfredo was very large serving. Definitely could share.
Shimp and Grits were very large and withy sharing.
Seafood platter was share worthy.
Mahi-mahi was large and juicy.

We ha a party of 11 people. We were all very impressed on the fact that our meals all came out at the same time and were hot. Our server was extraordinary in kitchen. Staff were great..

We found this place randomly looking at google maps and decided to try it, what an awesome find this place was. Food was delicious and the prices are just right. My only complaint is that it was kinda dark in side but overall great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

It’s a good place to eat. The food was good and the service was prompt. The decor is a little dated but you can’t eat decor.
