5 Stars – A Hidden Gem in Garden City! Garden City Daily Grind is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth and kindness. The owner is genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet—attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience for every guest. The coffee? Absolutely delicious—smooth, rich, and brewed to perfection. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or settling in with a latte and a good book, you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the kind of place you instantly feel at home. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet morning, a casual meeting, or simply treating yourself to a peaceful break in your day. Highly recommend stopping by—you’ll leave happier than you came in!
AMAZING service! The coffee is excellent! Never disappointed! The locally made coffee cake was delicious! Always look forward to returning!
What don’t I recommend about Garden City Daily Grind? Everything. The reviews online were good, so my sister and I decided to give this place a try. We later found out it recently has changed ownership and it’s clear the older reviews are not reflective of the current quality or service. The employee was unwelcoming and unfriendly. My sister ordered a flavored latte with almond milk. There was so much syrup in the latte that it was overwhelming. I requested very light chocolate syrup for an iced mocha latte and my drink was basically chocolate milk. As we watched our drinks being made, vanilla almond milk was used, which altered the drink flavor. A plain, unsweetened almond milk would be a much better alternative, and is what we expected. The espresso was not good quality; you could tell by looking at the shot of espresso that was pulled that it was not a high pressure extraction, and the flavor reflected that. We ended up dumping the drinks and going to another coffee shop. It was also super disappointing to see packaged little Debbie snacks in the pastry case. The location is convenient; This place could have a lot of potential if the latte/espresso quality improved and if they sourced some locally roasted beans and local baked goods for the case.
Very quaint , friendly and everything I had was so good. The location is perfect after a walk on the beach
The coffee was ok, the gentleman that served us was nice, but was disappointed in the selection. Outside of the pier this seemed to be the only other breakfast type place in the area and was hoping for something other than prepackaged pound cake and bread.
Great cup of coffee at a great price
Quality of the coffee, temperature and service are met my expectations everyday that I have been 4 days in a row ?consistency ?

One of the best iced mochas I’ve had in a while. My group loved the mango smoothie, iced caramel latte, and iced Americano.
All the tables and counters were dirty.
Great find! Stopped by at end of a bike ride and had a delicious latte! Great to find a local coffee shop!

This is the best coffee shop at the beach! The week we are there we go everyday for a coffee that goes great with our morning walks. Our favorite is the iced coffee with white chocolate! The staff is always friendly and welcomes you in.

Delicious! I had a hot latte and my husband had an iced mocha latte. Both were wonderfully tasty. My husband has celiac, so he was pleased to find a wrapped gluten free snickerdoodle cookie for sale. The owner was fun to chat with too.

The coffee was good no issues . There are a couple tables to sit at . Not much atmosphere and the place is very sparse inside ( nothing like the coffee / breakfast place that was there two years ago )Don’t go for food as everything is the pre packed cakes you would find at a gas station store . Prices are what you would expect from a place on the beach . If your just looking for a cup of coffee this place is ok
