Where do I begin. Today my wife and I ate at this establishment, and I have to say it has to be one of the worst restaurants in the Murrells Inlet/Myrtle Beach area to dine at. The Server (waitress), though pleasant misrepresented the items on the menu and had to check frequently with the staff on what ingredients are used in our meal due to dietary/allergy restrictions. The server also informed us there was “NO” up/additional charge for what we ordered, specifically French fries, in place of hash browns. I ordered the Reuben sandwich which came with 2 small, flat dried pieces of corned beef and little sauerkraut. My wife ordered a three-egg mushroom and feta cheese omelet. The egg was dry and lacking consistency. The mushrooms were out of a can. Her hash browns were cold and hard. The waitress said she would replace them with French fries at “no extra cost.” The bill came and we were charged $28.42, a $4.50 extra charge for the French fries. In breaking down the bill our true order was $22.75, plus 8% sales tax ($24.12) we had a $9.00 local coupon which should have brought the bill to $15.12. My wife went to the front counter and was approached by a very rude and older disheveled male, wearing what appeared to colorful pajama pants. He said there is always a up charge for the French fries, even though she told him the waitress said, “NO EXTRA CHARGE.” With that said he was given a $50 bill and would only return $25. My wife argued with him, and he provided her with another three additional dollars for a total of $28.00 cash returned. We should have received $34.88 not $28.00. He refused to address the issue or provide us with monies owed to us. As we were leaving, I politely asked him what his name was, and he refused to provide it. He did not want to address the issue of the bill or how much was returned in cash. I informed him that I come from a large family of restaurant owners some in the same area and I myself had worked as an assistant chef for a large restaurant chain and he should have been more courtesy and understanding of our bill, the food, and the waitress’ misrepresentation of the food items. My overall take on this restaurant is the food is awful, over-cooked and dry, small portions, overpriced for what you pay and “theft of money.” As locals we will never return to this restaurant and will make sure the community is aware.

This place is ridiculously expensive. I ordered chicken and waffles, a coffee and a side of gravy to dip my chicken in. It was $25 for me to eat breakfast by myself and trust me it wasn't even rolled chicken

Where do I start! We’re the only ones in there so we thought this was going to be great cozy place, no! the gravy on the breakfast bowl was slimy and not good the veggies were slimy,. while we were eating the cook/dishwasher guy comes out and tell us they’re closed! How are we supposed to know this when you sat and served us! We got our bill and left a tip on the table but when paying the guy asked if that was the tip we left on the table otherwise he would take it out on the CC Our waitress went outside to talk on the phone and when she saw us leave she peeked thru the window to see if we left a tip this place is not inviting!!

Very friendly and the food was great
Not a good experience. Waiter was kind but Owner not concerned.
The food was horrible the pancakes were frozen warmed up and the sausage was also processed. The waitress was nice. We paid for the food only took a bite and the mgr didn’t offer to accommodate or anything and I also left the waitress a tip. My omelette was just thrown together 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Bland food. In an area of tons of pancake houses/Breakfast places, I am not sure how they have survived.
Service was great.

What a wonderful family run restaurant. It has such a welcome atmosphere and an 80's diner vibe which we loved. We especially loved the scalloped booth benches on the perimeter of the inside. Service was great and the gentleman who greeted folks upon arrival was a sweetheart. What a blessing in a world that seriously lacks this kind of service. Oh, and the pecan pancakes were to die for!

Walking in was like walking into the 80’s a legit little ma and pop diner. I ordered a bacon and cheese egg white omelet full of real bacon. The fresh fruit was just cut up and so fresh, this place was great., honestly just real normal great food with out reinventing the wheel. Great price and great portions

your chef does not know how to cook an omelet. you don't just scramble eggs, and slap the stuff in the middle and fold. This was the Lazy way. Which is also the WRONG WAY!
Who taught that person to cook. you mix it in with the eggs. Had veggie omelet, and 2 other omelets and all the ingredients were folded in and not integrated with the eggs. was awful. Will not return. This is a basic item that you need to do well.
