Ok this has got to be one of the weirdest Sushi places I have been 2. It looks to be a former dine in joint that has switched to takeout only. It is in a little hidden store building that is easy to miss as there is a big tree covering half the sign. Walking in you enter a large, what used to be a dining room that is in various stages of being moved/removed. Then there is this gleaming fancy sushi bar right there in the middle of this rather unfinished space. You are greeted by friendly staff who promptly get your food and then you leave with a brown bag. Food for the price is very good and the Sushi is as good as I have had around here, just such a strange setup. I hope they stick around and I will be ordering again.04

Great sushi and very affordable! We loved all our rolls and the fish tasted fresh. Just know there is NO dine in. Takeout ONLY. Owners were very nice.

We were visiting Kelowna for a month and during that time I tried sushi 4 times. To say this place was the best is an understatement. Growing up my dad had several sushi restaurants and as much as I hate to say this.. this is the best Japanese food I’ve ever had, even better than my dads who received the highest rating form the Chicago tribune. (I’m the from the states) every bite was perfect. Its been a long time being to is full and happy!

Hayashi Sushi is my favorite sushi restaurant. The quality and price are unbeatable on the Grand Strand. I really like the size of the rolls too - not too big, but not too small either, and with the price, you can order a variety. The inlet roll and the sweet potato roll are a must order and are my favorites.
Absolutely authentic and amazing Sushi. No idea why this place is take out only as the inside is nice with decent seating. Must be a current staffing issue. Absolutely recommend!
