We've been searching for SC country food since moving here from the midlands. Judy Boones hit the spot. Collard greens are authentic, barbecue was tasty, nice selection of sides and dessert. We will be back.
The food was excellent, with a solid selection and fair prices. The dining area had dim lighting, which added to the ambiance. Overall, we were satisfied and plan to return. However, I strongly recommend that the host and seating staff improve their demeanor. The young man who seated us walked ahead of us at a hurried pace and did not display a pleasant attitude, which detracted from our experience.
We always make it a point to eat here when we come for vacation. Some of the best southern home cooked food in the area. The waitress are so kind, the buffet is delicious, and everything is well priced. If you love southern cooking definitely check out Judy Boone’s!
