Disappointing experience. We had a very long wait time, and even when our food finally arrived, not everything we ordered was served. The snapper was overcooked, dry, and lacked any real flavor. For the price, the portion sizes were shockingly small. What made it worse was that the manager was sitting at the bar the entire time and never bothered to check on us or any of the other customers having issues. Our server did his best to make up for the rest of his team, however we definitely will not be coming back.

Food was not good. Stay away from the octopus. Waiter was not attentive and it was not busy. My wife had to go in and find him once. She ordered a drink and did not receive it after waiting for 15 minutes. Whbrouhe waiter brought out the bill the alcohol drink was on the bill, but never made it to our table. Was not impressed at all.

Update one year later Oct 2024 , this place went down hill fast!! Obviously the investor who owns it is no where around. Service and food is no longer good! Oysters on the half shell had sand in them and they have no oyster forks and were told they were stolen ny customers ... What? Also no lemon served with them ect... Charcuterie now has cheap cuts . I no longer go!

Very good new spot on the inlet. A cut above all others on the inlet. I went for Happy Hour 430-600, excellent specialty drinks with fresh herbs , Happy Hour food is High quality and with great prices . You must sit at bar for Happy Hour menu. Mussels Saffron AMAZING and plump, Charcuterie board with fig jam, stone ground mustard,Pistachios DELICIOUS! 1/2 price QUALITY raw oyster selection. Burrata dish yum, 1 lb snowcrab legs $15 and more! beautiful view and live music even on a Monday. I will be back to try it all!

Great spot!

Great location right at the end of the marsh walk, but the service was all over the place. I’m not convinced the waiter was trained fully. Took forever to get anything, they forgot one of the dishes, and simple things like extra napkins or basic things like a crab cracker took a long time to arrive at the table. Shrimp tacos came with 1 shrimp in each! Crab pot was actually good. Really chock-full of crab and shrimp, and would want to be at almost $40. Not going back.

Very good red snapper catch of the day fried and also had second dish with garlic butter sauce with excellent risotto! Wings were tasty along with their seasonal Sangria! Grace our server was outstanding!!! Loved dinner out on the large covered deck.

Food was delicious and Brian was great with his recommendations.. awesome happy hour prices, and the filet was cooked to perfection . Both Brian and other bartender were attentive and always checking in. Great atmosphere, great service , great food .. highly recommend, and get the oysters !!! Delicious !!!

Loved the atmosphere! Especially the playground.
Our waiter explained he was new.. so we didn’t mind waiting for anything
We had a party of 9.. 3 of which were children under 4 our bill split 3 ways.. only 1 alcoholic drink was ordered on one bill
I agree to adding a service fee.. but adding a hospitality, food/beer/wine, liquor fee on-top of all adding up to $20+ especially the ones without liquor and even ordered water seems a little weird to us!

Before our trip, I had somehow found about Neptune Bistro & Raw Bar. I made reservations for happy hour on Friday to ensure we had a spot.

Dad had Lemonade, Hubby had the Blueberry Mojito, and I had the Watermelon Mojito. We got the East Coast oysters (Mama Mia and Blue Point) at half off during happy hour and tried the Fish Ceviche. So fresh and sooo good! We shared the Cobb Salad and Fried Fish Sandwich. The fresh catch of the day is Mahi Mahi and it was cooked to perfection.

I’m not really sure why this place had bad reviews. We had an excellent experience. I highly encourage visiting early. The parking lot was full by the time we left. This restaurant is at the one end of the Murrells Inlet boardwalk and a great place to walk and see the area.

Great food, presentation and service. The music was too loud but overall very enjoyable. Definitely try the grilled octopus!

Underrated spot! Amazing happy hour with great appetizers, $15 crab legs, and well priced cocktails. Highly recommend the Burrata Carpaccio, Cauliflower Appetizer, and their homemade Creme Brûlée.
