Sara J's Seafood Restaurant

The view at Sara J’s is absolutely beautiful, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lively, though it did get quite loud during our visit. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my dinner. I ordered the baked flounder with the chef’s choice of stuffing, and it just wasn’t to my taste. My boyfriend ordered the same dish and ended up returning it. The coleslaw and margarita, however, were both very good and were the highlights of the meal for me. Overall, it was a mixed experience with great service and scenery, but the main course fell short for us.

We've been looking forward to trying Sarah J's for awhile now. Im not sure if its because we went in the off season but needless to say very disappointing.

The food was overpriced and underwhelming not to mention all four of us had stomach problems almost immediately after getting back. Only brightside was the service was nice and quick.

I had the twin lobster tails and they were delicious. All staff very friendly. Enjoyed my dining experience and highly recommend this place.

Great place to eat. Service was wonderful. Great people and very friendly. The seafood was great. My husband had the Sea Bass and I had the Grouper. These were on the Catch of the Day menu. We both ordered them blackened. Very tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics of the main dishes. But trust me when I say it was great.

Asked a local where they go eat seafood. There’s so many choices in Myrtle Beach it’s overwhelming. Sarah J’s did not disappoint. Everything about our order was fantastic. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Was not impressed. Asked for broiled food, came out more like it was boiled not broiled. Very bland, hardly any seasoning. Clams had been removed from shell which was weird. I m sorry, but would not return.

Sat outside and had a pretty nice view. The food was amazing, and the service was top tier.

Food, service and atmosphere were perfect! The Sara J’s from days gone by is back! Food was excellent and cooked to perfection Service was excellent also. Of course the view is like no other ! Prices have gone up but haven’t they all

It's been quite awhile since we've been to Sara J's, an old favorite. The good news is that the food is still delicious, the service professional and exceptional, and the view of the marsh undisturbed. Our out of town friends were impressed with their shrimp and Mahi Mahi dinners. My only disappointment was the Seafood Chowder, which was not as I recalled it. Lots of potatoes! I wouldn't recommend it. The margarita and the Manhattan were very good.

Really good place with really, really good food. They bring you hush puppies with honey butter to start your meal. We have never been disappointed

We have been going there for over 30 years. Food quality has declined, service was awful and even the drinks were not good. I did speak to the bartender (no manager was available) but there was no way to make up for the disappointing meal and service.
