Went to go to the Quay and the dining room was closed, the roof top was open. We went there and were intentionally and purposely ignored by at least 4 employees if their branded shirts were any indication for over 5 minutes. We ended up leaving after no one would even look us in the eyes. This was at 5pm on Tuesday which should be prime open season.

We stayed close by and decided to go for a drink on March 17 around 4h45pm. We were greeted by a non smiling rude waitress who abruptly told us that we could only sit at the bar facing the inlet although all the other tables were empty. Took 10 min to get the drink menu while loud annoying music ("Gloria") was blasting although most people there was in their 60's. No price on the drink menu (why ??), waitress never came to take our order so we left. Would not come back and would not recommend.

They always have fresh seafood on hand. Great atmosphere and company. They also have heaters for the deck which over looks the marsh walk. The heaters keep it nice and comfortable during these cold months. Another thing is you can not beat and I mean you can not beat the sunset you can get from there upper deck on their 4th floor. Just amazing! Also they have a great staff as well as management. If you haven't checked out this amazing establishment this should definitely be on your bucket list.Kid-friendliness: A great place to unwind without having to worry about peoples getting to over servedWheelchair accessibility: Elevator access

We visited on a Wednesday. Our waitress was attentive and our order was perfect. We had three appetizers plus entres for a party of 11 - none of which were less than perfect. This was a win!

I’d like to keep this place a secret but I have to give a shout out to Chris and his whole staff. Not only does The Quay have the best view of the inlet and sunsets but they have incredible food across the board. The menu is great and the specials are something I look forward to seeing what else they can come up with. If you haven’t tried The Quay then you’re missing out.

This place has the best sunset I have ever seen. The bar tender told us that Guy Harvey has actually reposted some of the pictures they have posted on Facebook….we looked it up and found that it was indeed true. The place was packed and has only been open for a short while. So there are a few quirks to work out but the service was over the top. They don’t rush you, they want you to enjoy the sunset, the drinks are cold and they have speciality drink that I had never heard of or tasted before and they were excellent! Their shrimp is caught fresh on the OWN shrimp boat. It’s in the marina so you can look straight at it. We ordered several apps and got two dinner plates but could not eat it all. The portions are large so we had lunch for the next day. We will definitely make this a routine stop!

My husband and I have watched as The Quay came to fruition, start to finish. We anticipated its opening and would have been some of the first through the door regardless. Then we found out that our favorite bartender(s) would be working there, we were sure to get there sooner rather than later. My southern self says, Y’ALL!! The food, the service, the servers, the bar backs, management, the owners… everyone and everything are phenomenal! Always smiling, always! I will say, that the more popular it becomes, parking is hit or miss, but that is a testament to just how awesome it is. We are perfectly willing to park a little further down the street to get there! It’s worth it! And the sunsets aren’t too shabby, either!Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator access

Fish (flounder) & chips (tried both the potato and sweet potato fries) crisp yet delicate. Fabulous inlet and ocean views, unobtrusive service. Looking forward to returning with guests.

Delicious unique menu with the most gorgeous views on the Grand Strand. We're all going back again in November. Awesome in every way!
