The Javelina Texas Bar & Grill

I try to shy away from bad reviews. However anytime I ever tried ordering food there (except once) I was told the cook wouldn't be in until the evening. This was after 3pm btw. The last time we were told the kitchen was "closed all day." The smoked bologna sandwich I had ONCE was really good. Problem was she forgot the lettuce and tomato I asked for. Then she brings it to me with her bare hands after handling everything else. I threw the produce in the trash. Not a fan. That sucks because I live near by. I'm just giving an honest opinion, not trying to bash the place. They know a bar should have a kitchen that's open. 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Fun friendly staff, excellent service! It can get busy later at night with a Pretty easy going crowd. Definitely put on the check out list.

Such a fun place with the best staff around! The specials, food, and events keep me coming back for more! If you are looking for a place to have fun and kick back, buy have you found it. Will be returning as often as I am able!

The rib was burnt to a crisp. The brisket was dry and tasteless.

It’s a really relaxed atmosphere with some of the worlds most down to earth and easy to talk to bar tenders I’ve probably ever had across the bar keeping me with a cold one in my hand! Thanks you girls!

Friendly service, great chicken sandwich

First of all, I have to say the poor waitress was stressed. Her tips were stolen. I had been there before for a band. That was there. I was told they don’t make this drink. I ordered a meal barely any fries came with the meal. Drink was horrible. I felt bad for the waitress, but I still treated her well security cameras could put a stop to having good help treated poorly by other employees

Loved the duo that was singing. Otherwise, I would have given the atmosphere a 2 star rating. The beef ribs were delicious, and the brisket was a bit dry.

Great local place by the beach but not as crowded. Service there was friendly & fantastic! Was lucky to stop in when they had a live rock band on a Friday night.Enjoyed some dynamite Texas styled slow cooked ribs... A must try! Appetizer menu featuring tasty (but spicy) Empanadas that I loved with my cold beers.This is a casual hideaway from the more well known places, but I suspect the secret will get out soon. I'm making a point of stopping in again on my next trip to the So. Myrtle Beach area.ENJOY!

Nice bar... good size dance floor and stage for bands. Should get rid of the pool tables so there's more tables to sit at.
