Excellent happy hour price on oysters and they were awesome, definitely try the tuna wonton tacos as well. Can't beat it
Located near Market Common, a great restaurant with ample indoor and outdoor door seating. Menu includes a number of appetizers (cooked and raw), tacos, sandwiches, salads, and entress. They also featured a special Tikki menu with additional food and beverages. Regular cocktail menu with a variety of cocktails, martinis, draft beer, and wine. We opted sit inside (it was hot and humid out), although most customers were outdoors. We were in a booth away from everyone which was nice since it was private but it did feel a bit too remote and detached from experiencing the full vibe of the restaurant (hence the 4 on atmosphere). The service was great. Our server was prompt, professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly. Ordered a South Side Shine which was tasty but not so pretty to look at; have definitely had better presentation elsewhere. But it arrived nice and cold and was flavorful. Decided to our a few appetizers to share rather than getting a big meal. Great decision. Our apps ranged in price from $14-$23. Each was delicious and a good sized portion to share(there were 2 of us) and feel like you had plenty. Had read reviews which gave high praise to bang bang grouper bites. Did not disappoint. Bite sized pieces of white, flakey grouper with a tempura like fried coating. Not greasy with just the right amount of crunch, drizzled with bang bag sauce. YUM. Next we had the lobster sliders. SO GOOD. Decadent. Rich and full of flavor on a buttery roll. Not too much mayo and filler with a hefty blend of lobster. Love them. And off the Tikki menu we tried the crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks. They were huge. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we only had 2 of the 4. They were also good, not the full flavor of a crab Rangoon nor like a mozzarella sticks on its own. Worth trying, but not sure I’d order them again.
Great food and ambiance. The oysters were tasty and fresh, the calamari batter was very light and super enjoyable. We loved the Asian salad and the Rockefeller oysters.
We ate outdoors where the kids could run an play. Beautiful setting and good food and drinks. We will be back before we return home.
Our family drove into Myrtle Beach wanting oysters, and this place delivered the best we’ve had in a long time. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere was even better—warm, welcoming, and lively. Our kids loved playing with all the yard games while we waited, which made it even more enjoyable for the whole family. I highly recommend it to anyone craving fresh oysters and a great dining experience.
Extremely cute atmosphere with gluten-free availability and the food was great. Also catered to my granddaughter who is dairy free we love the place.
Holy moly is this an unexpected little gem. I would recommend you use a GPS to find it because it's kind of plopped in the middle of an industrial park. The vibes are great. Sometimes there is live music and the food is unusually good for this area. I highly recommend the cucumber salad. Sounds basic but it is so delicious. Sweet, savory, spicy and fresh all at the same time. So good.
Great place. Enjoyed the meal, nice server and is really clean inside and out.
Only issue....no military discounts. Kinda sad since the building used to be part of the former military base, now Myrtle Airport.
such a great place for inside and outside dining, food is always amazing and fresh! and service couldnt be better!!! you must try if you're in the market common area everything on the menu is great especially happy hour!
Great type of gastropub feel. Terrific bar and modern concrete and steel interior without feeling too industrial. Lots of natural light and not cramped at all. Two favorites that are often overdone in the area, but nobody does them better. 1) grouper bites 2) shrimp and grits. Both could stand alone as meals, I'm always order their slaw which is terrific.
Food was terrible and service at bar lacking. Had Garlic Shrimp that was so sour that I couldn’t eat it. Scraped sauce off and asked for cocktail sauce to dip shrimp. Clams Casino were so overcooked and dry. Second time there. Never returning

Food is great service needs improvement
Ate here twice during our week long stay at Myrtle Beach. Love the variety of food. Our dishes were excellent and the atmosphere is very cool. Also love that its right off the strip yet off the beaten path so you dont have to fight traffic to find a parking spot. 5 minutes from Pirateland campground

Shine has very attractive decor and the food was good. On the downside, the menu was very very limited. We found our server to be friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the stench in the restaurant was overwhelming; it smelled like dead fish. So sad but we will not return.
