The food was bland,no seasoning and over priced. The j*** chicken wasn't spicy at all...smh

I drive 20 miles every week for a plate. Great prices, good serving size, and always pleasant to visit.

We had the J*** Chicken, rice and beans, cabbage/carrot dinner last evening. Don't let the unassuming building fool you. It was delicious. 😁

If you want some great food. This is a great place to eat. Their food is not overly seasoned plus they have different meals daily.

Today was my very first time. I ordered steak(which i was only given 1 pc) & a side of cabbage w/ a slice of cake. I also got a drink. My total was $18.40. I thought that was a few dollars too much, for what little i had gotten!! The steak& the cake did turn out to be good though.

Had two meals from this restaurant mid-May 2017. Ordered Oxtails, mac & cheese, & cabbage. Was slightly disappointed because a few of the items which I would have ordered off the menu weren't available until the following day. What I initially noticed was the amount of bones floating in the oxtail pan. Other than that, visually, everything else looked fine; unfortunately, it did not taste that way. I can't even remember the last time I had to go into my spice cabinet to retrieve the salt, pepper, garlic power, and onion powder in order for my food to have a taste I could tolerate, but I had to that day. Oh, and even after adding those, I chased each bite with Jalapeno Cheetos! THAT actually did the trick for me!! Two meals and both were rather bad and neither of us could finish. The rolls were good, but they were brand/store bought. On a positive note, the customer service was fantastic ! Really awesome people there!!!
