I drove an hour and was told they only except reservations on Valentine's Day. It says clearly on their website no reservations needed. No where does it say reservations needed for Valentine's Day. The website states their New Year's information nowhere does it say on Valentine's Day reservations only. I was told by the staff " Well it's on the door." And when I said that I can't read their door before coming, I live an hour away, their response "oh well" The OWNER was standing there through the whole interaction with a snub look on her face. She heard everything never apologized she just said " Noted". A simple I'm sorry you came so far but we cannot accommodate you was all that was needed. When I turned around to leave she said "We didn't want you here anyway." Thinking I didn't here her. This is where I felt this was racial. The comment wasn't necessary. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY ŵTO THIS RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. IT SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED IN THE MEDIA AND BOYCOTTED UNTIL THEY CANNOT BE IN BUSINESS TO TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY..... after reading some reviews I notice that there are many people of color who had bad service🤔🤔 i know they have good reviews but take this into consideration and look at the not so good reviews they are interesting.

Absolutely one of the finest dining experiences in Myrtle Beach. This was our second time, and it was even better this time. Our server was Precious, and she offered as fine a professional service as can be seen. She decanted our old wine and knew when to leave the table alone and when to check on it. Nothing was amiss, period. The elk was delicious, the steaks for the others were all cooked to perfection, the dessert scrumptious. There's nothing more that I would ask for - - - except that a third visit sometime in the near future will be equally nice. I know it will be.

We took friends here for dinner and the food was outstanding. The waiter, however, so annoying. He literally came by every ten minutes to check on us , often interrupting conversations. This is not, in any way, a reflection on the other wait staff or the overall quality of the restaurant

What a discovery!! This place is 5 stars all around.
From the welcome to the atmosphere, very comfortable and relaxing.
Food... The chicken dish was excellent and the 8oz with crab was delicious 😋
Service?? Above and beyond, our server Kevin reflects a bygone era of top shelf attention and respect, he made the evening!!
Wanna know what it SUPPOSED to mean when being served in a nice restaurant, he'll spoil you forever.
Who i think is a manager came over as well and she made sure we were having a nice experience... yes, yes, yes!

It was our first time at Aspin Grill. It was outstanding, food, service and atmosphere! Our waiter, Kevin, made our experience exceptional. He was one of the most professional waiters I've ever encountered! I give him 10 stars!
We will definitely return!

Best trout of our lives. My husband is a fisherman and we have lived in the northwest. The wine selection was fantastic; took me forever to decide. Wait staff was kind. We did not have a reservation but they sat us in the bar and it was great. If we get back to Myrtle Beach, we would definitely go back and try some of Chef’s other dishes.

We had another great dining experience at Aspen Grill. The cocktails were very good, the shrimp cocktail and beet salad were delicious. My wife had the scallops and they were prepared perfectly. I had the ribeye steak which was full of great flavor and cooked to a delicious medium rare. Our server Amanda was Awesome

Kairos Strategic

My family hosted a birthday party for a family member in the private dining room. We chose Aspen because we had done the same ten years ago and with a large party and all had a great experience.

Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The displeasure of it began with the difficulty we had getting details of the menu and booking procedure from the Event Coordinator. We did not get responses to emails that inquired about particulars, and phone conversations were not followed up on or remembered multiple times.

After finally booking the room, we had a colder experience with the Hostess than we did the last time, and while the Wait staff was professional and the food was good (yet priced at a premium for the Private Room Menu = $90 steak), we were interrupted in the middle of our party by the Hostess, who inquired about a car owned by one of our attendees.

The driver of a car, allegedly owned by the Proprietor of a neighboring business, accused one of our party members of parking 2 inches from their car door. Numerous members of our party had to leave the dinner area to confront the accusers with the fact that our 3 cars arrived at the same time and nobody parked in such a way, going so far as to call the police to come resolve the situation.

When the people who made the accusation withdrew it and left the premises, we queried our Hostess as to why she would interrupt our dinner with such a claim, we did not receive a satisfactory answer, nor any acknowledgement beyond the superficial apology of the Hostess as we concluded our dinner. Afterwards, many of us had a suspicion that this was a predatory collaboration between the neighboring business owners/accusers, and the Hostess.

Either way, the experience cast a cloud over what would and should have been a special celebration for our family. The exorbitant and obfuscated pricing for the Private Room menu, combined with the difficulty we had definitely crosses Aspen Grille off of our list of places to go when visiting MB in the future. The only reason this grade is not lower than 2 stars is that the Private Room is very good, the Wait staff was professional and food overall decent.

Aspen Grille never disappoints! Located in a quiet section on the north side of town, its unassuming exterior hides a perfect fine dining gem. We make an extra effort to visit whenever we're in town.
