Wasn't what I expected

The room I had smelled like I was in a bar smoking cigarettes and all they could do for me was spray something for the smell and it did not help , it was late at night so getting refund was not gonna help to try and find something else with my kids ready to sleep hopefully if you read this you get better room and service than me

Nice location on the ocean front walking distance to everything

Room was clean and nice. My granddaughters enjoyed the upper level pool. We didn't bring our dogs, but we enjoyed being where they were welcome. Would stay again.

Standard Single Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Oceanfront” we did have a balcony, but we also shared it with four other rooms. The room does not look like the picture shown we stayed in the building to the right of the office and our door to the balcony does not look like the ones to the picture. The door in our room going to the balcony is a fire door versus a French door. The ceiling in our room is falling down. Looks like the level above us previously had a leak. There is a crack halfway almost all the way across the room. The ceiling is dirty and looks as if there it is moldy. We will not be staying again. Check-in was fine. The staff are friendly and made sure to say hello to us when entering the office made sure to let us know the Wi-Fi password and if we needed anything to let them know. I will say if you get a room on the right hand side of the office not the rooms that are attached to the building that the office is in. It is a very tight squeeze so if you have a bigger vehicle, do not try to go up to the second level of parking. I have a small car and it was hard to finagle in and out of the tiny area where you park. My showers have zero water pressure and make a very high pitch quill. We could hear when another room turned their water on because of the high pitch squeal.

Elevator to the building we were in didn't work and air in the room barely worked...the room was decent ..that was until we started seeing roaches and other little bugs . Ahead of time we tried canceling reservations but since it was made the day of on booking.com we weren't allowed too cancel at all and we didn't want to waste 200$ . Would never book here again very disappointed. Expected a lot better for the price that was paid. We have videos . The pictures are screenshots from the videos we took . All The videos have time stamps and location information on it as well if anyone needs to see them !

You get what you pay for!! Mold, mildew & most of all BUGS....

Perfect spot, reasonable price!

It was ok...but Ocean Front view sucked we watch more rats play from the Balcony view...we heard ppl outside all night walked back and forth had me thinking it was a Crack Motel...And they only give you 1 Towel 1 Rag bring dirty ones down yoo get More...SMH...My First and Last Stay..I HAVE SO MANY VIDEOS OF THE RATS PLAYING IN THE YARD

My kids and I stayed here from Friday until Monday and it was great for us! Room was clean, staff super friendly and it’s right on the beach! We will be staying here again in a few weeks!

I will say the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location and views was the best part of this hotel. The parking was very tight. One night I did have to use the overflow parking lot, due to there being no parking. The WIFI was non existent and the TV's didn't work. The rooms are dirty and there's no housekeeping at all. If you want towels, you have to go to the front desk and ask. There's also no phones in rooms. We actually had to request a new room the first night because we killed 4 roaches within the hour. The new room was nicer, and slightly more clean. The bathtub doesn't drain, so you might as well be taking a bath when you're showering. Just remember that this price is cheap.And if you're looking for beachfront, on a budget, then, this is what you would get, and you get what you pay for with this place.Definitely has a roach infestation.Now, when they moved us to a different building, that one only had one big roach that we saw.But there were still roaches, if you can afford something better.I would recommend that you pass on this place, as I will never book again.

If you're going to be staying on the Grand strand bar harbor is one of the best places it is very cheap and they have very good service so I would definitely recommend coming to bar harbor in Myrtle Beach Grand strand South Carolina

For relevantly budget friendly and pet-friendly nice stay

Only issue was stair well by office on 2nd landing smelled of poop or something close and parking near building a little tight. Other than that great pricing, super friendly staff who goes above and beyond, clean rooms, and great ocean view. Definitely recommend this place.

We love this place. Hands down best bang for your buck. The owner Mr. Howell is super accommodating and will do what he needs to for his guests. This is my Myrtle Beach spot forevermore.
