We waited excessively long for our lunch only to be served cold food that should be hot. Sent it back. Won't be back.
I'd eat here every meal if I could :) From the incredibly friendly service to the wonderful food - this out of they way restaurant really does hit all marks. The food is home style cooking and extremely good - to the point that the leftovers made a great second meal. Just wonderful all around.
Our dinner was AMAZING! Stopped in after a family beach day to avoid the hustle and bustle of other Barefoot Landing restaurants on a Saturday night. Great decision, check out @Barefootbistro. I recommend the pot pie 🤩🤩
A favorite local go to for me and my husband and a must when the kids are visiting. Patty and her staff never disappoint with there hospitality and service. Love the daily specials and Patty’s home made desserts.
The worse excuse for Greek Salad with chicken that I ever had. Just a few pieces of chicken, a little lettuce, some other things and you pay $21. We ordered this via DashPass!
Absolutely the place to go. The specials are the best in town. You get so much, will not go hungry and dessert included. The fried chicken, the turkey dinner, the fish special on Fridays (my favorite). The bread pudding is to die for.
My husband and I came here for the first time on a Saturday night. There was a singer and it was pretty busy. Our server was handling at least half of the tables and did a great job. My husband had cowboy stew and grilled cheese. I had grilled shrimp with broccoli and hushpuppies. I will say, hushpuppies we’re not good at all. No taste and I love a good hushpuppy. But, the shrimp were nicely grilled and broccoli was well cooked. Cowboy stew was hearty and tasty. We would try this again, probably during the week.
This was our first visit to Barefoot Bistro . We had a very good experience. The restaurant is at the corner of a strip mall We were greeted and given a choice of seating. There are tables, booths and a nice bar. The menu has great selections of fish, meat and vegetable meals. Our meals were delicious ! Generous servings and beautifully presented..
This bistro is a quaint jewel tucked away in North Myrtle Beach,SC. It’s rather small in size but, if you want great, mouthwatering comfort food, you MUST stop in. There’s no set menu because the specials change daily however, there are the standards available like sandwiches, burgers, etc…. Everything is prepared fresh and cooked to order. After eating a great meal, the desserts are to die for so try and save some room, or get one to go! Add to all this, they have entertainment a night or two per week. The owner Patti, is also a hands on owner that makes this restaurant a solid 5 star eatery. You won’t be disappointed.
There is everything to love about this place. The service was impeccable. Our server, Dillon, was attentive and helpful. The daily specials are wonderful and you can't beat the price. The food was hot and clearly homemade. I hade the special of the day, Pork Chops. I got mine fried. It came with rice and gravy, black eyed peas, apple sauce, lima beans (I chose not to have the mac and cheese that typically comes with it) and bread pudding. The pork chop was large, hot and tender. My friend chose the fish sandwich with fries . It was a large piece of flaky, tender cod cooked to perfection. She said it was the best fish she'd had in years. It came with homemade fries that were hot and wonderful. We are locals and will definitely go back, and often.

Truly a hidden gem of North Myrtle Beach. Their menu drew me in, a wide variety of interesting plates at reasonable prices. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, it was delicious served in a large bowl without a bottom crust and a crusted lattice top, I had enough for another meal. I stopped in again the other night and had the Curry Chicken Salad, once again delicious and enough for a second meal. The desserts are over the top especially the Pina Colada Pie. They have quality entertainment Thursday-Saturday. I saw Greg Rowles the other night, what a great show. As I said a hidden gem, not easy to find there’s no signage on Route 17. First of all it’s not in Barefoot Landing but a couple of blocks north in the Food Lion shopping center, behind Johnny D’s Pancakes. This restaurant is well worth the effort to find, you won’t be disappointed. The Barefoot Bistro has become my go to place for lunch and dinner.
My husband got the Pregnant Nessie, I got the Meatloaf special, my daughter got fried chicken, and we got the Sonic Boom Shrimp and a free sample of their spicy pretzels. Everything was delicious, fresh, and hot. The service was friendly and prompt and prices were reasonable. I also got a bag of those pretzels to take home they were very tasty!
Absolutely delicious food. Like every restaurant we have visited, patience is requested as nowhere is fully staffed. Servers are knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Food was excellent and she crab soup was the best my husband has eaten.
Some friends told me to give this place a try and glad I did. Friendly staff and clean and well lit. Order the grilled pork chop and it and the 3 sides you got was delicious, plus 2 yummy chocolate chip cookies. Price was fair and service top notch. Will definitely visit again and will bring clients.
Our family had dinner here our second night, and it was our first time to visit. Service was adequate, a, and she was really trying her best. The vegetable plates my daughters in law had were ample and good. One son and his three sons had cheese Burgers, and while they were good sized, they seemed a little pricy for Hamburgers & fries. My wife had chicken salad wrap, and it was good, but not especially tasty. I had the Monday Meatloaf special, and it was nice size piece, with OK flavor, and it came with 3 different sides--probably the best value of the group. The worst was my other son's fish plate. It came with fries, and one scrawny piece of fish that he ate in 3 bites. I shared 1/2 of my meatloaf with him, and my wife shared some of her meal too. For the price, it was terrible. With the higher price for the Burgers, and the crummy serving of fish, the family's consensus was that while some things were good, the overall price/quality/service means we'll look for another place for dinner. Probably OK for lunch, especially their daily specials, but not again for dinner.
