Next time, I'll try another "little mike". Interesting menu with good variety. Very southern with collard greens, okra, etc. Good value. Want to visit again!

We decided to visit Myrtle Beach while vacationing. I'm happy we did because it did not disappoint. Victoria was our server, and she was attentive and pleasant. Now, the food was fabulous. One of my favorites was chicken livers on the menu, and my spouse had the seafood basket. Delicious and nice size helpings. Visit Big Mike’s you will not be disappointed.
It's hard to find really great, authentic food in Myrtle Beach. Everything is super flashy and usually just okay, it's built to get tourists in and feed them cheap food. Big Mike's was the opposite. Super quaint little building, but some HUGE flavor inside. This place has got soul food right. The shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had.
Have looked forward to visit this " soul" food place,,,everything was way too salty,,,portions at this price reflected child's portion vs what would expect more for adult,,got grilled catfish,mistake,,in pieces with taste of hamburger grill,,,I can usually tell if place can cook by taste of greens,cabbage,, so by their taste,both failed as canned items by taste,texture( stalks too many,too large,,as see in can,,,), to say least we were very disappointed,,,sweet tea was definitely soul food item with heavy syrup taste,,so picture will show story

Absolutely as advertised, at 830pm they close at 9pm still amazing! Was rib sticking excellence! Great way to wind down a long day.
