This was a nice little find in our trip to Myrtle Beach, the food and drinks all excellent. Unfortunately the place is closing/has closed since then due to downtown revitalization work.

The food had an incredible depth of flavor! Very reasonable priced and great portions. I'm just sorry it's not located in my hometown.

It so sad they are being forced to closed. I been coming here on vacation for the last 16 years and here to Black Thai for 13 years. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Never had anything I didn't like from here. I'm am super glad I was able to eat here 1 last time before heading back home to Maryland.

I absolutely adore this place and it’s so unfortunately they are forcefully getting shut down due to street regulations stuff. We came to Myrtle Beach for three nights and ate two nights here because how much we love it. My parents are very picky individuals but they requested to come back here again after the first night due to how much they like the food here. The owner is also super nice and friendly so it’s so sad to see this wonderful place closing. We are very fortunate to experience the foods here before it closes! Please let us know if you guys decide to open anywhere else in future!

Don’t go to this restaurant. This is one of the worst restaurants I ever went. The waitress was okay but main dishes did not come out even after 45 minutes wait. The appetizer was just average. When we asked about the dishes, they said another 25 minutes. Since we had a show to catch at 7 PM and we had to walk out of the restaurant without eating the food. Who would want to wait one hour and 10 minutes for food? The restaurant was not even busy when we got there. Don’t understand how they can run a restaurant when they made customers wait so long.

My rolls were super healthy and tasty, especially peanut sauce. It was a big portion and I ate it all. Lol so, no, the food was good but very spicy. I order number 2 and it was quite spicy. I have vegan ice cream with peanuts. It was good too.

This is our favorite go to Thai restaurant. The food is always amazingly fresh and good quality. The wait may be a little longer because that's how made to order food is. If you're in a hurry go to McDonald's. Otherwise go, sit back and relax, drink a Thai beer like Singha while you prepare yourself for the main course with an appetizer like their crab ragoons. These aren't your run of the mill ones. My favorite dish is the crunchy chili chicken. It's just wow!Parking: Easy especially when they first open.

Black Thai is one of my favorites places to eat in the Myrtle Beach area! I am always pleased with my delicious food & the clean, friendly atmosphere. The service is top notch and always on point. They have a wild variety of menu options to cater to every dietary need (including vegan and healthier options). Plus, the bathroom is always clean! If you are in the area, I would highly recommend checking it out! You will not be disappointed!!!Dietary restrictions: No matter your dietary situation may be, they have many options to provide excellent food to cater to your needs.

Visited this restaurant during a recent trip to Myrtle Beach. Family with 3 picky kids. It's a smaller venue, away from the popular areas, but still very accessible. Very clean and organized. Food was fantastic. Fresh and delicious with a good variety of authentic Thai food to choose from. Service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Our server did let us know that spice levels run higher than most places so I ordered l level lower than usual. Glad I did because it was still pretty spicy?. A wonderful experience, don't hesitate stopping here.

We had a great time here for dinner. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent! We started with Thai Tea (which is a personal favorite), gyoza (which were very good), steamed dumplings (which we really liked), and money bags (which were outstanding). For dinner we had the pineapple chicken rice (which we really enjoyed), and the green curry with chicken (which we also really liked)! We would absolutely go back!Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options.Parking: There is street parking, but you may have some difficulty finding a space depending on the time of day.

Best spot in Myrtle Beach. You read that correctly. Not just the best Thai spot. NO! The best restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The service was phenomenal, the craft cocktails were outstanding and the food was on another level. This is not your average Thai spot. Don't come here thinking it's just another run-of-the mill Americanized Thai restaurant. This is authentic. Pay heed to the spice level section of your menu, they are not kidding. My wife and I started off drinks - she had the Green Lotus - Thai Rum with coconut, cilantro, ginger and lime. She ended up loving it so much she got two. I had the Earl Grey Old Fashioned and Singha Lager. I was almost tempted to order the Allocated Whiskey Flight but ended up passing. For apps we went with the Golden Tofu and Money Bags appetizers - just amazing. Dinner I got the Tofu Drunken Noodles spice level three and my wife got the Garlic Chili Jumbo Shrimp spice level 4. All of these dishes were absolutley outstanding. The spice level was perfection and the portions are massive!(two to-go boxes). There is definitely a Thai cuisine master behind these dishes, YOU CAN TASTE THE DIFFERENCE!All in all, 3 cocktails, a beer, two appetizers, two entrees all for 100$ bucks.Thank you to Black Thai for a great date night and the best meal we've had in Myrtle Beach. You guys rock!Vegetarian options: Delicious!Dietary restrictions: I am Vegan and this is the best option in MB!
