I had eaten at Boteco VIP before and already knew it was a great spot, but this was the first visit for my wife and son. We stopped in before heading to see the Christmas lights on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, and it was a perfect start to the evening. Boteco VIP is warm, inviting, and comfortable, with décor that feels intentional without being overdone. The holiday details were especially well done—the Christmas window display and the artificial tree in the center of the restaurant that reaches the ceiling added a festive touch without overwhelming the space. The menu is diverse and accommodating, which made it easy for our family. My vegetarian wife had good options, my son was happy with his cheeseburger, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Boteco VIP continues to deliver. It’s a great choice for families, date nights, or groups, and it’s a place we’ll absolutely be coming back to—and bringing more people with us next time.

This is our favorite restaurant when visiting Myrtle Beach and we don't normally dine early but glad we did. The early bird menu provided just what we were looking for. Our entrees were delicious, plentiful and a great value. The service from the staff, especially Marina was also excellent. See you on our next trip!!

My favorite restaurant in N. Myrtle Beach. Can't find a good Italian restaurant in the area but so happy to find Luigi's years ago. We go several times per year and thoroughly enjoy it every time.

Dinner was excellent. I had the linguine with white clam sauce and my wife had the eggplant rollotini. Our server was Marina and she was very attentive and very welcoming. When we visit Myrtle Beach again, we will be sure to dinner at Luigi's.

This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. We ordered from the early dinner menu and the portions were larger than expected, prepared using fresh ingredients, and served piping hot. Dinner came with your choice of soup or salad, so it was plenty of food. We mentioned to our lovely server, Jordan, that it was my husband's birthday. She made sure that he received a complimentary tiramisu and had the staff sing to him. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely return.

We had a group of 12 people and they divided us with two wait staff. The one group got served faster than the other. Food was excellent as always.

Luigi's never fails to impress. The food is outstanding and the servers are attentive. My advice is to make reservations since this is a neighborhood treasure and fills up quickly!

Excellent as always! Great neighborhood restaurant. I had the grouper florentine and my dining companion had the chicken francese. We started with the stuffed artichoke hearts. Delicious meal...will definitely return!

The food at Luigi's is delicious. The staff are very friendly and so are the owners. To start with I had a yummy Pistachio Martini. We had the Grouper Franchese, which just melts in your mouth along with a nice cold crisp salad. The bread and home made dip is so good. Ended with a nice piece of Tiramisu for my birthday.

The Bartenders and wait staff need to be better trained on making mixed drinks and serving wine. Basic Cocktails were mixed wrong and bartender argued the drink was correct. Aperol spritz example. Also a member of the party ordered kendall Jackson win and the waitress assumde red not white. Great restaurant and food! Need a little more training on alcohol with staff.

Luigi's Trattoria is my go to restaurant. Always consistent with the food and the service. I had the grouper which was the best grouper I have ever had. That place is awesome... You can never go wrong when you go to Luigi's.

The atmosphere in this restaurant is great. We’ve been here a few times, both before and after the change in ownership. On this visit, the food was just okay. The Boteca VIP burger was supposed to come with Brazilian sausage, but instead it had what looked more like a hotdog. The fries also had an odd aftertaste, almost like the oil they used was old.

For our family of five (two adults, an 11-year-old, and two small children), the bill came to $150. Be aware that an “auto gratuity for large parties” was added to the ticket. It is listed on their menu, but I almost left an extra $30 tip before I noticed it. (The auto gratuity starting at a family of 5 IS stated on their menu)

Service could have been better as well. A few times we needed something and couldn’t get the wait staff’s attention—they were in the back eating ice cream cones.

Overall, not a terrible experience, but not great either. Just keep an eye on the gratuity and know what to expect before going in.

We haven’t even left our meal yet, but I had to give 5 stars before I forget to do so. Truly amazing food and very good cocktails. I got the tropical shrimp, short rib croquettes, and yuca fries. So damn good.
