Went here for Valentines with my wife. The service was horrible and the food was just ok. My wife wrote a review and the owner replied with all lies. We had a reservation and the server kept forgetting our drinks, we ordered an appetizer and never even received it. When my wife asked about it, he said he never even put the order in. We ordered a couple of different things and one plate we ordered, it was hard and cold. We sent it back but did order something in the place of it and they immediately did not like that. We felt so uncomfortable the whole night and was the worst dinner we’ve had in a long time. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place at all.

Found this place for Valentine’s Day. I was so excited bc I absolutely love Latin food. The food was just ok. Some of it lacked flavor, overcooked, and just disappointing. The service was horrible. Our server was the worst. We asked for waters 3 times until he finally brought them. I ordered an appetizer and it never came. I asked was it almost ready and he said oh I thought you didn’t want that. The drinks are the best thing about this place. They use fresh squeezed juices and very delicious. Halfway through the meal, our waiter decided he didn’t want to wait on us anymore, so another waitress who was kind came over to help us. Even the owner or man in charge was walking around, looked over at us and didn’t say a word. I definitely won’t return and do NOT recommend. Also they automatically charge you 18% gratuity for any size party.

We went for Valentine's Day and had another amazing experience! The restaurant was crowded and busy, but our service was still excellent as was our food. This will continue to be one of our go to spots for the best Italian in Myrtle Beach.

We enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner at Luigi's. The service was great, very attentive and friendly. The food was just okay. Nothing exceptional, but standard Italian-American fare. Desserts were wonderful.

The food was great as usual. Our waiter however was terrible. He spilled scalding hot soup on our guest and his response was ridiculous. The manager was helpful only after we notified her of the incident. Overall a very different experience than we normally have at this place. We probably won't go back after this happened.

Good 'true to culture' Brasilian food with some expansions beyond. Pricing is also very fair considering entree portions are huge. Very nicely done interior that comes together to make the atmosphere romantic for a date or a nice time with a couple friends. They even have a nice photo sofa to capture the moment. All set to Latin music played just loud enough to make out the lyrics.

Everything was top notch from start to finish! The atmosphere is so lovely and charming, you can’t help but smile.
One person in our party has celiacs, but does not eat seafood. It can be difficult to find options when eating out that aren’t seafood or salad. BotecoVIP had such a variety of options that were so clearly marked. It was not only a relief, but a delight!
We started with drinks and they were sooo yummy! They weren’t just the same old drinks you’ll find everywhere else. Not only were they delicious, but the presentation was beautiful. It made us want to come back and sit at the bar for drinks some time (something we’ve rarely done anywhere).
We ordered the fried plantains and the Pao de Queijo. We don’t usually order appetizers, but we couldn’t resist. Both were top notch, but the Pao de Queijo … chef’s kiss!!
Our table shared the Grill Boteco Mix. It was excellent, bursting with remarkable flavors!
Our server, Amber, was warm, welcoming, and attentive. She was personable and helpful!
We have a special occasion coming up and have decided to change our dining plans to BotecoVIP. We can’t wait to share this wonderful place with our extended family!

Wow! We had a wonderful meal and drinks tonight! So many delicious options for everybody in our party from the amazing appetizers and drinks to the sharable meal! We were seeking an establishment with many gluten free (GF) options and we truly found a gem with great fresh food, creative drinks and an amazing atmosphere and decor. Our server, Amber, made it all even better with her constant attetiveness, conversation, friendliness and overall demeanor. Thank you for a great evening and we will be back!
