Bruster's is quite possibly the best ice cream in Myrtle Beach. It's constantly smooth, extremely creamy and rich.Unlike the numerous ice cream outlets along Kings Hwy, the method of service is primarily a drive-through. Parking is limited, but I've never been shut out of a parking spot. There magically always seems to be just enough parking. If you prefer, you can park and order from the walk up window. Most people park after going to the drive-thru, although there are several well maintained picnic tables around.Go here if you want absolutely great ice cream.

Ice cream was really good, and we want to support local today. It's drive thru style, no dine in except for outdoor tables and chairs. We would have wanted to use the restroom and wash hands as well, but none on site. Lots of selections on ice cream and smoothies and other things.Limited parking, about 12 or so, for those having their ice cream in the car. Otherwise, mearby strip mall provindes plenty.

I drove 20 minutes for a flavor listed on their website that they did not have in stock because someone working in the morning added the wrong flavor to the list. I come here for non dairy ice-cream. The flavors are usually limited to 2 a day for non dairy which I don’t mind. I just expect the flavors they offer to be there.

I want to start off saying I ALWAYS tip whenever I go to a restaurant. Typically 25%, sometimes 30 if the service is decent. That said, I'm done with this place. I treat my kids to ice cream sometimes when we're out and I have been here several times. EACH AND EVERY TIME the rude blonde at the drive through hits me up for a tip before I even get my total. (A tip? For WHAT? You LITERALLY handed my kids an ice cream cone through a drive through window.)That said, I try to be nice and add a few dollars to the total.This weekend, however, while at the window and AFTER YET AGAIN demanding a tip, I asked her for a sample of a new flavor. She refused saying they "don't provide samples through the drive through" and shut the window.You don't offer samples in the drive through??? The only two options you HAVE are walk up window and drive through window. So you give samples at one window but not the other?Fine. I no longer TIP through the drive through. Or you at all.I'll take my kids to Dairy Queen where the workers are friendly and don't stalk you for tips.
