This restaurant is a very poor representation of the Captain D’s Chain. This store is always filthy, never has sufficient help or staffing. Half the time they are not open due to staffing issues. The manager is not very friendly. Please do something with the management to save this store. The restaurant in Florence SC is a great place to start, send your staff there to learn the proper way to maintain a restaurant.

I have been twice..I got the same meal...fish fries and slaw..both times the slaw is room temperature...thats wrong..it must be under 40 degrees...its going to make someone very sick...they better do something ..next time..no slaw for me

The service is getting terrible more each day. The food isn't cheap and Either the food is burnt or they not putting enough in the boxes. I counted 13 fries in the box and when you call with a complaint they don't answer or they have a attitude. They use to have good service.

My food was the absolute worst! I'll never eat here again! My shrimps and deviled crabs were burnt! The broccoli wasn't cooked, the clam strips had a gritty taste like it had sand on them, and the hushpuppies were hard as rocks!

I really never complain about anywhere I go. However, yesterday at Captain D's was rough. The dining room was closed, my order was messed up, and the lady in front of me at the drive-thru window, her order was all wrong. Shameful.

Traveled about 45 minutes to take family to eat, arriving about 5:45pm. While in line to order, staff told everyone in line that they were closing the dining room and that we would have to leave-we would have to go through the drive-thru. This is NO way to run a business-especially on Friday nite of a holiday weekend. This does it for me-no more! It’s clear that they don’t want or need the business. They should just close this store-if they refuse to follow posted store hours!

Patrick was doing a phenomenal job period. For someone dealing with his physical disabilities.What i didn't appreciate was this manager that was there she was yelling over an order fries and that he must get the orders right.What really got me is that she was yelling so loud everyone can hear her.This is disrespectful.This was today at around 3pm03/03/2024
Rude manager, terrible staff, would not recommend. I went in to order and waited 30 minutes in line. I was going to order the spicy fish and shrimp special but can’t have spicy food. I wanted it in the classic batter. The sign clearly says on the bottom or “available in classic batter” at the bottom. Staff said I was wrong. I asked for a manager and he said no. I asked for the general manager’s name and phone number. He refused to give me the information. He said, “I am not going to give you my boss’s information.” Such disrespect. I am always so nice to these people. I always eat here two or three times when at the beach often and now will NEVER be back.
