Casa Mía at Soho North

This restaurant only names the abandoned tables with dirty dishes not picked up, and the dishes, the bad food, the only good thing that pays the value to pay the prices if they are affordable, the rest is what a disappointment, I do not recommend it in this life or the next, I will not return again. .

Went for dinner last night , ordered a few appetizers that were barely ok, then i got hibachi chicken that was beyond awful! The sushi was a days old! The owners need a new chef there before it is too late or maybe it is , last night the place was dead! The person preparing the meals has no freaking idea how to cook! Hibachi b s dish that was NOT a Hibachi meal! Owner go to Yamato's or Miyabi's with your chef/cook and ask for a Hibachi dinner so you can see what real Hibachi food looks like!

Excellent service, food was amazing! And what a variety, there were 8 in our party we ordered various appetizers and entrees! Everything was top notch

Terrible parking availability . Seated in about :15. Waited at the Bar. Great service there. Received a text that table in bar area ready. Actually, nice spot. Then things took a turn? Waited about 20 minutes, no server. Lucky us, we brought our Bar drinks. Had to go back to podium and ask for a server. When she arrived, made apologies and took our order. Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was awesome. Spice just right. Shrimp were used. Too bad we had no utensils or plates. Showed up about :5 mins later. Sushi was good but the seaweed wrapped pieces were hard to handle. The seaweed was tough! Second round of drinks and meal was done. Bill was reasonable.

We came to Soho wanting hibachi and sushi, but with a different vibe. Miyabis is just so overplayed for us now. We had Anthony as our server and Dominique was the bartender. These two made the night exponentially worth it. Their energy and attentiveness was the best I've ever experienced anywhere!! The sashimi was phenomenal. Super impressed ? It's our new favorite spot!!

Was recommended to us by bartender at Ocean Annie’s. So glad we went sat at outside bar. Had shrimp app and tuna tatami fantastic. Three rolls that were all wonderful. Good came fast and bartenders were so helpful.

All Dishes made to order, Service is great. not a high price dinner. SOHO was suggested by the Best Western Hotel were service and accommodations are wonderful

We were seated immediately, greeted at the table quickly. Beverage orders were taken and brought right away. Asked for a few minutes for the menu, wasn't left sitting forever. Placed the order plus an appetizer. Salads came out right away (the ginger dressing is wonderful, by the way!) but the calamari never did. The manager had just stopped by the table to see how things were going, said that she would cancel the order for the calamari (wait staff told us it had accidentally been taken to the wrong table). It was fine with us, as the portion sizes were huge! I order the fish platter, which was 2 big pieces of white fish (flounder), steamed veggies and I had fried rice. My husband had the grilled Seafood platter, which was 5 scallops, 7 shrimp and a large piece of white fish. He also had steamed veggies and fried rice. Serving sizes were huge. Wish the server had been a bit more attentive, as she would have figured out we didn't have the calamari... but it would have been too much food!

On 7/15/22 we went for happy hour at the outside bar. A young blonde girl greeted us asked us for our drinks then we ordered. It was three of us a couple and a single person. We each ordered our sushi separately. When the food arrived it was all in one plate. The single person is allergic to fish so he told the girl who dropped it off why it’s all in one plate. We didn’t have any silverware or soy sauce for a while. The blonde bartender said why didn’t you tell me you were allergic and called him a dude. Like it was our fault it was served together. Extremely rude and unprofessional. When we said we had no idea that was the case she said “ well if you don’t like it go ahead and pay your tab” very rude comment. So we decided to leave with half our food still no eaten and our drinks not finished. No manager spoke to us about her rudeness and incompetence. I don’t agree on this type of service especially if we had to pay for food that was not finished because of a rude employee. I don’t suggest this restaurant to anyone and will not go back even if invited.

Food was not that good! Over rated!

Trust me, there are many excellent places in Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. Do not waste your time going here. I had read many reviews on this new location but had to find out for myself. Very disappointing. First of all, the pretty outdoor patio area was closed in because " it was too hot for the workers". Secondly, the Thursday entertainment that I was told to go there to hear didn't show up on this particular Thursday. When I asked for my bill, the bartender tried to charge me $6.00 for the $2.50 happy hour bud light which I had. Was it a mistake? Finally, when I brought to the manager on duty he could care less. Very rude, very un-caring. Worst customer service that I have ever seen. I had read this same comment in other reviews, so it is pretty obvious this is their normal attitude. I travel a lot and do reviews when deserving however since I live here and frequent establishments here very regularly, I can tell you without hesitation you do not need to waste your time going here!

We have been coming to SOHO since they were located across the street. We have never had an experience like we had tonight. I can honestly say that I am sad & disappointed with our evening. What once was our favorite special restaurant is no longer that at all. We were prepared for a wait & waited for nearly an hour to be seated. Once seated not one person spoke to us or looked our way from 20 minutes. The “DJ” was unbearably loud. We went downstairs to see if we could wait for another 6 top & we were told it was just too bad and told us to look around & see that they were packed. We left.

Great place to eat drink and party!

This is for the Soho in myrtle beach just below tanger. This use to be one of my favorite places as a local not tonight! The service is awful the food was good as usual but the bartenders never interacted with us, it took them 10 min to notice us (they where not busy) then forever to get a drink, plates, silverware etc. very disappointed considering I have loved this pace since it opened. I understand understaffed however I am in this industry and would never allow staff like that behind the bar.

Went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. Our server Danielle took great care of us . The drinks and sushi were really great and we’ll be back again.
