Ordered 2 specials: seafood and chicken parm. Chicken was very salty and pasta needed sauce- which the waitress brought right out once I asked. The deviled crab my husband ordered was mostly filler. He liked the shrimp and said the flounder was ok. For the savings, the portion was small. Better to buy a full portion and split with me, which is what we usually do. And we still end up with leftovers!!
On the other hand, their onion rings are excellent!!

Always on our must visit list. Love the sweet rolls they serve along with the hushpuppies! Enjoy the chunky fish stew served with each meal. Always great seafood at moderate prices.

Seated promptly and server was friendly and attentive. We started with the Firecracker Shrimp which was good then I choose to have the Carribean Glazed Mahi with a house salad and baked potato. Large portion of Mahi but heavy on the glaze for me, but it was easily scraped off. I would recommend and would eat there again if we are back in the area.

I really liked the food but I'm a big fan of cinnamon rolls and those were great as an appetizer, so good, in fact, that I got some to take home for breakfast in the morning. Service was excellent and I would recommend it!

Food was good. Server was terrific ...but having a roach crawl out from under the table and run across the table at the end of dinner kind of ruined the entire experience.

Stuffed flounder was very overcooked. Salad was minimal. Very disappointing compared to years ago.

While vacationing for five nights in North Myrtle Beach this past week, we enjoyed dining at The Chesapeake House twice…it was so delicious. We also had outstanding service by Debbie and Buddy! As soon as you’re seated, a basket of delicious hush puppies with both tartar sauce and honey butter are served, and sitting atop of the hush puppies are insanely good cinnamon rolls! You’re also given a small cup of their famous Fish Stew, which I was hesitant to try but it was fabulous, especially with the hush puppies!! A garden salad also accompanied our meals. I highly recommend the Oyster Stew, Shrimp and Grits and Seafood Platter…it’s all incredibly good!!! Be sure to take home some cinnamon rolls!
Food and service were spot on.

This was a wonderful place to be. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She mentioned the busy season is crazy, but it was quiet and peaceful in the off season. The food was outstanding and we highly recommend their house fish special and the Mahi Mahi. Plus, the hushpuppies are not your regular southern ones, but have a sweetness to them that was so yummy!
