We ate here last night which was a Monday for the first time. We got right in because it's a Monday and not in high season. It took 55 minutes for us to get our seafood platers. My wife's order was wrong. We waited another 10 minutes to get tauter and cocktail sauce so my food was not hot anymore. At that point I just wanted some boxes and to go. It took another 20 minutes for that. 1 and a half hours for us to just get most of our food and leave is unacceptable when they are not busy at all. We won't be going back! I didn't like the fake cultured sour cream and butter that's pre packaged just sitting on the table. It tasted terrible and I didn't care there was carpet on the floor. Our portions were really good, I will give them that, but we still won't go back.

First time here. Food was great. I had the steak tips, cook to perfection as I ordered it medium rare Service was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

Great food and service! The she-crab soup is a must have. The apps were tasty and the entrees even better. Good sized portions and I'll recommend the mahi-mahi. I have to mention our server Brook...she is an absolute gem! Friendly, funny and she does her job well. 5 stars for sure!

A Myrtle Beach must do. From food to service to atmosphere the Chesapeake House is SUPERB. This family-owned restaurant has been open for fifty-five years. They perfected hush puppies. Don't eat too many before the meal arrives. The catch of the day was Grouper. Both the fried and broiled were amazing melt-in-your-mouth dishes. So happy we accidentally stopped by. You will enjoy every ounce of the $50 plate. We'll worth it.

Everything was bland! Hushpuppies was way over cooked. Flounder was not fresh, tasted like a Gordon Frozen fish from the grocery store. Cinnamon rolls were dry and not fresh. I will not be returning because I do want a little more for my money at dinner.

The two of us ordered from the Early Bird Special menu. Fried shrimp. Caribbean Mahi. Excellently prepared and generous portions! Side salad and rice were basic. Lima beans yummy. Took the cinnamon rolls home for breakfast. Again the main item - the seafood - was excellent. If you get a window seat next to the pond, you will likely see turtles and a white egret. Maybe a squirrel or rabbit too.

When I came into the restaurant I didn’t know what to expect since I have never been there, but when we sat down and was greeted by our amazing waitress Brooke.I just knew we were going to have a great time. She was so sweet and made sure everything was right and how we wanted it to be.
Coming to this restaurant and having Brook as my sever made my experience here amazing. She works very efficiently and made sure we were well taken care of. Our drinks never were empty and she made sure we had everything we needed.

Hush puppies and cinnamon rolls are brought out to the table. That was a pleasant surprise. They were delicious and good thing they filled us up, because beside the side salad, the food was horrible. The shrimp creole needs to be taken off the menu. It's horrible..tastes old and just not what a creole is supposed to be! The grilled shrimp were brough out cold, tough and dry. Served with a bowl of just plain white rice, no seasoning or anything. Service was amazing though. The whole staff is super friendly! The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing but the food needs some work!
