The food is consistently good and the portions are huge. I had the blackened scallops in gorgonzola sauce. Soooo good! The veal saltimbocca was also great.

Food was delicious. Only small complaint would be one of our parties dishes, penne vodka with chicken, was a small portion for the price.

Oh my goodness I had the stuffed mushroom for an appetizer and I could have eaten 2 of them. It was absolutely delicious and the sauce was outstanding.

Food was good. Space is small and feels like everyone is on top of you listening to your conversation.

Had not been to Ciao since 2022. Chose for a birthday dinner. Love the new look of the renovated dining room. Food was as delicious as always including the fabulous tartufo for dessert. A Myrtle Beach favorite of ours. We got an early reservation at the last minute but you'll want to plan ahead as it was packed on a Saturday evening.

Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is absolutely fantastic! Service was excellent, the atmosphere is dim lighting, upper scale yet somewhat rustic. And the FOOOOOD. Oh my gosh. Best food I’ve had since moving here. The meatballs were by far the best I have ever had. The bread is warm, crusty and delicious. I got chicken parm which came with soup or salad. It was amazing. Some of the best I have ever had. My husband got penne ala vodka which was also SO GOOD. The sauce was perfect. It came with grilled chicken which we could of just ate by itself on a plate, that’s how delicious and juicy it was. Our server was Zach and he was so attentive but not over bearing! He replaced my drink without me asking because he noticed I wasn’t feeling it and never missed a beat! He was very polite and didn’t even want to accept the tip we left him! We had an excellent time and will definitely be back soon!

My daughter and I went for the wine dinner last night. The meal was excellent and we enjoyed the presentation about the different Italian wines. Everything was lovely!

Upon our arrival, we were informed that Ciao was hosting a wine tasting Event, therefore no tables in their Dining room were available. We were seated at a table off to the side by the restaurant entrance. Because of the continual arrival of wine tasting attendees the door was constantly open. This caused our dining area to be very cold and drafty.🫤 Our server Sean was pleasant, professional and attentive. The Chicken Marasala was cooked perfectly. We treated ourselves to the creme brulee cheesecake. Wonderful. I highly recommend you try it. Overall we enjoyed our evening and will try Ciao again..but will be sure to verify no Special Events are occurring.

Nice quiet evening spent with friends. Food was delivered quickly. We enjoyed the Greek salad. The Meatballs were moist and had good flavor in the sauce. The polenta cakes didn't have much flavor but the shrimp was good. Caprese was a large portion but unfortunately my tomato still had the core. The Halibut feature was ok. Chefs pasta and Chicken Marsala were good. Would visit again to try some different menu items.

This is the best Italian restaurant my wife and I have found since moving south from NY a year ago. The veal Saltimbocca was amazing, service was excellent, and they had a great wine list. Added bonus was créme brulee cheesecake (which I had never heard of before) and decaf Cappuccino. We visited in September, 2025, but we WILL return!

We were greeted with a smile by the hostess, and promptly seated in the dining area. The dining room is cozy with an inviting atmosphere. Our waiter immediately came and welcomed us to Ciao. He informed us that his name was Sean, then he asked if this was our first visit to Ciao. We let him know it was our first visit. Then, he asked where we were from, and afterwards began to explain the specials of the day. Then Sean took our drink orders as we looked over the menu. Sean was very informative as he answered our questions concerning the different options on the menu. Sean's personality was very pleasant and we enjoyed talking with him. Our meals came out quickly. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp and scallops scampi style over linguine I could not believe how tasty this entree was. This was fresh large shrimp and large sea scallops with perfectly cooked pasta. I felt like I was back in New Jersey at one of my favorite Sicilian restaurants. My wife had the lemon chicken which she said was outstanding. Our compliments to the chef for a fantastic meal. We finished with the Italian lemon cream cake and a double expresso. We loved our server, the chef, and this restaurant so much we are going back tonight. If you love good southern Italian food in Myrtle Beach, SC, try Ciao you won't be disappointed.

Ciao was the best restaurant my wife and I could ask for in terms of a date night! The night would not have been made if it wasn't for Sean. He was tremendously knowledgeable, polite, effective, and fast. He was a server that you would expect at an upscale Italian restaurant. If you visit Myrtle Beach and want authentic Italian; ask for Sean!
