I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I moved to MB in October. Despite local Jamaican describing their restaurant as trash and suggesting I try others instead I still chose to support. We usually order 2 large oxtail plates but today I’m the only one that wanted it. At one point we were ordering plates multiple times a week, so we have spent a good number at this establishment.
Until today.
Usually my bf orders my food since his specialty is foreign food whilst mine is American but he was taking an important call so I ordered my own food. I specifically asked for no gravy on my rice and they put the oxtail all over it. I called and shared my concerns. The young lady told me to come back to the store. At the time I was already in route to Conway and immediately went when I got back.
The owner usually just gives us a side of rice when they make a mistake of putting gravy on the rice but his son was so snobby and arrogant. He said that because there’s cabbage on the plate he had to put the oxtail on the rice. He could have easily put either the rice or cabbage on a different plate and separated it so that there would be no gravy on my rice. If I said I don’t want gravy why would I want oxtail on my rice? That’s literally adding gravy! Instead of offering to make things right he told me there’s no refunds. I didn’t even want a refund I just wanted some rice with no gravy. I left feeling disrespected and most of all my time and gas was wasted.
If you have bad customer service I promise you your traffic will go down. Since my boyfriend and I have family and friends that visit often I will now make sure NO ONE and I mean no one spends a dime in that restaurant.
Your poor attitude and poor service ruined a loyal customer relationship, congratulations.

Got back to my room…oxtails were dry wit barely any meat on them..cabbage taste the earth….rice is extremely spicy…do not waste 30 bucks on an oxtail plate

Honestly this is the best Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten my kids love it we got 2 curry chicken and 1 oxtail omg omg omg it was so yummy best Jamaican food in Myrtle Beach 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 service was 10/10 Food 1000/1000 will definitely come back again and the price is so reasonable overall it was the best food and service

On spring break with my kiddo's visiting from Savannah GA first time visiting Myrtle beach the food was to spicy for my liking when the cashier stated it wasn't anyway the Jamaican patties didn't have enough filling in them and they crust was tough and dry it also was close to closing time so I'll blame the horrible food on that I had cabbage and oxtail and rice the cabbage was delicious 😋 that was the best tasting thing in that expensive plate my hubby had the curry chicken and it was a let down and he the type that don't complain about much but he dislike that food with a passion

Worst Jamaican food I’ve had anywhere in the world and I’ve lived in Jamaica and in NY. Tasted like it was prepped days prior and had an old fridge, plastic taste. They even said the chef prepped it, come in and does the cooking they just reheat it. No vibes and small portion, had to ask what it was and give a little more protein. Already paid on my card or gave it back. Opened the box and it looked dry and sad like the vibe inside. Only went there because place around the corner was sold out of Jerk. Gotta do better and take pride in your cuisine, lot of potential to be a cool spot but that ain’t it

It was recommended by a lady that works in the smoke shop down the street. Me and my Fiancé got oxtails, rice and peas, and cabbage. We chased it down with a mango carrot juice. 5 ⭐️
