I love cookout but this location gives it a bad name. Smaller portions than usual, unhappy employees and they can't make a milk shake to save their lives!
The place is small and mostly a drive through. The food choices are great and the prices are reasonable. The decore is not very good to look at. My burger was cold, but I didn't want to wait for another burger to be cooked. The fries were not hot, even though I asked for new fries right out of the fryer. One of the stalls in the ladies restroom was locked so I guess it crashed out of order. The variety of meals they have are quite a lot and even the pickiest eater can find something to eat. It wasn't busy but the parking lot was full.

First time eating at 100 loyola dr. in myrtle beach south carolina. I ordered 4 trays 2 adults and 2 children. The onion rings and hush puppies on all 4 trays were burnt so bad that no one ate theirs. One hot dog wasn't even worth eating. I didn't feel like turning around to take the food back because I had an hour drive back home. Hope all cook outs are not that bad. Can't even give it a 1 star.

Not sure if this place has new management, but they sure do need it at this point. Every time I have came to this location for the last three months there’s been an issue. Overly burnt burger patties, giving only one side when I pay for two, attitude from staff when asked to correct what I ordered and paid for. Soda machine tastes like there’s still bleach in it. I try to give it the benefit of the doubt but judging off the reviews, I guess I’m the only one experiencing this. So this problem must be personal towards me. Definitely won’t be back after this round.
Also notice that the owner only replies to 5 star reviews. Interesting

We went inside of the restaurant. It was a Friday evening. There was a line inside and outside but everything moved quickly. The service was fast and our food was hot and delicious.

I live close by and always walk over for their milkshakes but, I have noticed that they switched to ice milk and they don't have the machines low enough to give you a thicker shake. It's the closest place for shakes and in walking distance. They need to do MUCH better. The food, service and atmosphere are great. The milkshakes are my pet peeve.

Short white guy on the speaker laughed and made a rude comment (at 1:08am August 11th) when I asked for the 2 chicken strip tray (which is on the menu still online). He said “we don’t do that one anymore we haven’t done it for two years” with the rudest tone ever. After working in service all day, going to a movie with my friends and just trying to grab some food I was really disappointed when I couldn’t just do that without getting disrespectful comments in the process.
