We have dined at multiple AYCE and this was the worst experience. When my husband spoke to the manager about the poor quality, overcooked and dried out food, he said that our expectations were too high and gave us a $10 gift certificate.
Food was ok but not really enough of a variety of seafood compared some other buffets. Service was great. The person dressed as a lobster made my kid happy. The ROACH though is why I don't recommend it. A huge one ran from the cold bar to underneath another customers booth. The staff saw it but it seemed like they tried to distract attention so all the other customers didn't see it.
I came down from North Carolina to visit for a few days. decided to give this place a try. I am not understanding why there's so many bad reviews. I am very honest with my reviews so im going to tell you exactly how this place is. the buffet is a bit expensive $ 51 a person however you can find a coupon in the coupon books that's like all over Myrtle check the welcome center. the coupon is $6 off each person you bring. all you can eat crab legs - yes they go fast but they were delicious. I had the clamp chowder soup a bit more than I cared for with bacon in it but it was good. a full salad bar delicious 😋 I tried the calamari and it tasted old and chewy so I didnt care for it and I had a crab cake which I didnt care for but I am a picky eater. the desert table was a good selection and they even have an ice cream machine with sauces .. if you are particular and bougee dont go here its that simple .. the entire staff were incredibly friendly. only down fall is there's a guy who comes around to take your picture he says its for Facebook but its a lie lol he will come back and offer you package deals of the pictures he took ... theyre cute photos but definitely pricey so if you dont wanna do it politely decline it . but I will return for sure and I highly recommend.
The buffet was small for what they advertise. The are very overpriced for their options. Most of the food was over baked or fried and just didn't taste good overall.
you could go to any good Chinese buffet and get the same seafood selection for a third of the price. I know Myrtle beach is known for tourist traps but this was a once and done. all the food I ate was barely room temperature,I don't know what that disgusting butter flavored dip was but it wasn't butter.i had the coupon from the monster book for $6 a person off but hell they charge $6 for unsweeten tea alone .our total was 121.87 for two drink unsweet tea.i know it's been 12 years since we've been to Myrtle beach and the seafood buffet was like $30 a person but you had way more selection. they should have made their money up from covid long ago ..I doubt we come back up to Myrtle beach in the future.we came up there to basically fish Apache pier and that is a whole other story.im really trying to wrap my head around the good reviews but I know the world is full of some pretty goofy people . The best part of the whole dinner was the ice cream and it wasn't all that .
The overall experience was fantastic. Food items were all hot & tasty. I can’t remember any items pan ever being emptied. Service was excellent and timely on removal of plates when emptied and beverages were never not full. I give it 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will return…

Disgusting ...Awfold ...Food in the floor
Over the past few years my wife and I have eaten in six AYCE seafood buffets in the Myrtle Beach area. We went to Crabby George’s tonight, and it is now my favorite. They have lots of delicious selections which is good for those of us not that crazy about crab legs. Hostess, server, those putting out food all seemed glad that we were there. The restaurant is just the right size - some AYCE restaurants are so big that you spend too much time walking back and forth from the buffet. The staff kept the buffet items well stocked. The selection was awesome, and items were well labeled. Among my favorites: prime rib, Oysters Rockefeller, cold peeled shrimp, and baklava. (I was specially surprised how delicious the prime rib was).
