Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. The bacon was crispy and very flavorful. The scrambled eggs were perfect. The hash brown casserole was also very good. Best of all, everything was served hot. It was an excellent breakfast with great service. For some reason Cracker Barrel has a hard time serving mashed potatoes hot.

I came with my family on Sunday morning (8/25) it was fairly busy fortunately, we did not have to wait long to be seated. Once we were seated, we were greeted almost immediately by our server, Madison. She was absolutely outstanding! incredibly kind, professional, attentive, funny. She’s truly the definition of what hospitality should be like. She gave us the best service we have ever had at any Cracker Barrel if not any restaurant. The food was amazing, hot and fresh and came out quickly. We certainly recommend this location to anybody traveling or in the area and if you stop in, please ask for Madison she will make your experience 10 times better!

Called in order. The girl didn't know what sawmills gravy was n I had to repeat myself 5 times. She finally understood. Well I thought she did. So I go pick it up. Put in my rewards. It said rate food or skip. Obviously I can't rate the food because I haven't eaten it. I kept pushing the skip button and it wouldn't work. Cashier leans over and hits excellent or whatever it says. I get to work. The food is cold and guess what. There's no sawmill gravy. I call up there. The girl says the gravy was spoiled that's why they didn't put on there. I asked why didn't you tell me and could have got brown gravy. She had no response. I believe this is the worst experience I ever had at Cracker Barrel. I will only go to the Murrells inlet one from now on.

Came to support them after the stupid logo bs but they took forever to bring my takeout to me and the food is slightly better than a TV dinner as usual

This Cracker Barrel need to get it together!!
When we ordered our food after waiting On it to arrive it wasn’t hot at all, not to mention the mash potatoes tasted like a Mashed baked potatoe . The new garlic chicken special tasted like it needed seasoning . Our food was fairly cold.

I asked for soft scrambled eggs and was given soft & runny. I told the waiter I don't like these because I do not like the runny stuff. The waiter explained that's how they cook soft scrambled. BLUF I got it replaced and ate the new eggs and it was cooked all the way through.

Waited for over an hour for our food and it was cold when received. I didn't say anything because we were on a hurry to get home after waiting for so long.

I always have good experiences at this location. The kitchen was a little backed up, but the server made up for it by keeping on top of us.

I always like to go Cracker Barrel because their food is always hot and not warm. The coffee is also always fresh.
