We bought a vacation condo about 4 years ago and continually heard that this place was great. It is in an older strip mall so we avoided it. Big mistake.
Socastee Station is known as a locals favorite and I know why now! There are plenty of options on their menu which made it difficult to decide on what to order. But, I decided to order the meatloaf sandwich and it was terrific! It was moist and covered in gravy and well seasoned. My friends order the french onion soup, pretzels and salads and all were satisfied. Whether you are a local or visiting Myrtle Beach, I highly recommend Socastee Station!
Amazing food and service. Must see! Specials nightly. Prices are unbelievable. Have to try the meatloaf!!!!
Great place, excellent service and friendly staff. Nice local place to eat or just hang out for drinks! Never seen anyone leave here disappointed. You will find me sitting outside, relaxing. Stop by and say hi!!!
(Translated by Google) I loved it!(Original)Me encantoooo!
Dont let the outside fool you, this place is a gem inside with homecooking. Had the ribeye steak and what flavor it was. Fried mushrooms as an appetizer, just great will definitely be back
Our first visit there today and it will not be our last. I had the meatloaf dinner special and it was so good! My hubby had the All You Can Eat Fish special. He said it was so yummy!
This place is full of surprises and is often crowded. The food is hearty and plentiful and the staff friendly. Ask for the specials and try the local craft beer
Went to this place for the first time on a friend’s suggestion, they said you need a reservation, however we took a chance, arrived and was told 20 to 25 minutes..waited maybe 8 minutes..got seated, waiter was there in another few minutes, order was taken, and it came hot in a very few minutes, had the fish all you can eat, each time the order was taken it there in jiffy time and hot,the fries were overdone but hot..cost was reasonable..interior needs work..but ok.
We went with friends on Friday for our reservation @ 6:30. Arrived early to have a drink, the place was pretty congested but they did a nice job of flipping tables and getting people seated. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, exactly what we all want! Brought to our table pretty quickly to be met by our server, Billie Jean. She was FANTASTIC! So so attentive on all fronts. We all orders the “all you eat haddock” and Billie Jean was very proactive in regard to ordering our next servings on both drinks and food. I’d recommend it but only with a reservation if you go on a Friday!
Restaurantji Recommends

We had never been to Socastee Station. .... decided to try the restaurant today for lunch. We ordered the all you can eat fish and pork loin sandwich which were the Specials for the day. Both meals were ok. French fries were good...the restaurant was very dark for my eyesight.... many patrons for lunch....service was excellent!
I had never had bad food here at Socastee Station. I been here several times. Service has been great staff is friendly and know their menu.
While on vacation and shopping at a local drug store, the clerk there told us about this place and raved that they ate there at least once a week. We gave it a shot and are super glad we did. The food was home made and tasty, the service was quick and competent, and the prices were more than reasonable. We wil put this place on our Myrtle Beach rotation!
