Dirty Don's Oyster Bar & Grill - Market Common

Great place! Maybe I’ll have to come back to try something different, but the tuna tacos I had were good but I felt they could be better. The idea is great, but due to the crispy shell it comes in, there wasn’t a lot of filling and the shell was tough to eat. I only have the critiques because my wife got the shrimp tacos, and hers were loaded! Don’t get me wrong, the food is still delicious, maybe I just picked a slightly wrong option. Won’t know until I come back!

Btw the street corn is great, I’m glad I got that over the fries.

The atmosphere was good, with many TV’s to catch games. We got the Oyster Sampler. They were good, but the oysters themselves were a little small. The boneless mild wings were really good also. Happy hour was from 4-6 and we got the steamed mussels. They were very good along with the Cocktail Sauce that they have. That is some of the best cocktail sauce I have ever had. Over the experience was good, and we recommend this place.

Dirty Don’s was exactly what I was looking for! The atmosphere is casual, laid-back, and perfect for relaxing with good food and drinks. Our server, Autumn, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing.

The fish sandwich absolutely hit the craving I’ve had all spring—it was fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite. I also highly recommend the “Gold rush” cocktail; it was easily one of my favorite parts of the visit.

One thing I really appreciated was their return-visit promotion—bring back your previous receipt and you can get free oysters or shrimp, which is a great reason to come back and try more of the menu.

Great food, great service, and a fun, easygoing vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

So glad we stumbled into this place! Excellent happy hour specials on steamed shrimp (my favorite) and oyster specials at lunch to make even my picky husband happy. This Market Common location was probably much less touristy than the other Dirty Don's. Parking was free and easy in a public parking deck next door.
Our bar keep and server, Danny, was great - good service, of course, but also friendly and helpful with info on the area.

My wife and I shared a dozen oysters on the half shell and side order of hush puppies. We washed it all down with a couple of drinks. We enjoyed all of it! Autumn was a extremely good waitress and took good care of us well.

We tried the Kickin' Bourbon ribs and the Coconut Shrimp Platter with the orange Dijon marmalade — both were incredible. The ribs had the perfect balance of sweet and heat, and the coconut shrimp was crispy on the outside with that marmalade adding a flavor combo I wasn't expecting but absolutely loved. The hush puppies and coleslaw on the side were on point too. Great portions, fair prices, and the Key West atmosphere at Market Common is the perfect vibe for a night out.

Paige was our server and she was absolutely fantastic — super attentive, great energy, and knew the menu inside and out. She recommended the shrimp and grits without hesitation and it ended up being the best thing on the table. Never had to flag her down for refills, she was always one step ahead. The kind of server that turns a good meal into a great experience. Dirty Don's is lucky to have her!
