Service was good but the food was trash. Somehow they were able to make oysters taste like the shells they came in. The ahi tuna taco was so covered in sauce you couldn't taste the fish. The other fish tacos were equally tasteless except for the sauce. I'm astonished they were able to make seafood taste like nothing. We sent the raw oysters back and ate part of the other items.

We travel with our small dog and they allowed us to sit on their patio August 12th, 2025! My husband and I ordered the same thing 10oz ribeye except I got mine with shrimp and potatoes. The food was very good and I only gave 4 star because the seasoning was very heavily sprinkled across all the food including the steak, it honestly was a tad to much. You can even see it on the plate in pictures I have included. The shrimp was tender but also to much seasoning, I dipped in a sauce to offset the spicy. The steak however did melt in your mouth and was cooked perfect to order. I used A-1 and it balanced out the seasoning on the steak but I couldn't eat the potatoes from the seasoning, I did take them to go but ended up not eating them. Staff was super friendly, food did come out fast and hot. It was a very enjoyable evening! I'd return but only if I could request less seasoning. (My pallet is sensitive but my husband said his was even overwhelmed with it. Benefit of the doubt, it could have been a fluke and to much by accident also.)

Had an exceptional dinner experience with Dan, the man the server had blackened grouper tacos had ribs and then also had the bloody Mary experience. All the food was fabulous. Dan was an exceptional waiter. Took care of us. Fabulously will definitely be back if you’re in Myrtle Beach you have to go to dirty Don‘s oyster bar.

Tuesday night. 6 adults 2 kids. Arrived 6 pm and ordered immediately. Looked like a fun place but Food didn’t come out till after 7. Draft beer not even close to cold. Server unapologetic. Food average. Disappointing.

Went on a Saturday afternoon, and we loved that it wasn’t overcrowded. The bartender was awesome, super friendly. We got the Bloody Mary seafood bouquet, and hear me out, it was $60, but the Bloody Mary is a double (you can share!) and the food was enough for both of us. When compared to the price of a regular Bloody Mary and if you were to order the items individually, it’s actually a pretty good deal. And most importantly, delicious. We will return!

If you temper your expectations you should be happy. Nothing really bad to say about this place, but nothing great either. Pretty mediocre. Food was decent, beer was fine, service was pretty good but nothing to write home about. About as middle of the road as you can get.

WORMS WORMS WORMS!!!! My partner and I decided to try dirty dons for the first time. Our waiter was nice and checked on us regularly. My partner ordered the po boy and was disappointed but was still edible. The fries tasted like they were soaked in oil. On the other hand, I decided to try the fish sandwich and that was a mistake. I got half way through the sandwich when something was hanging out of my mouth. I then proceeded to pull out a WORM OUT OF MY MOUTH. I left the rest of my sandwich and “street corn”. We told the waiter of the incident after she picked up our check. The manager came and told me it was a natural thing and tried arguing with us after we were unhappy with the food. I understand it’s possible for worms to be in fish but after paying 20 dollars for a sandwich I would expect it to at least not have worms. I watched her play with the worm for a minute that I put in a separate tray. She then tried to say we shorted the bill and took an extra twenty. We then realized that we put the full amount in the check and had to catch her to get our money back. Honestly, the manager could and should have handled the situation better and been nicer instead of sighing and cussing us out under her breath. We let them keep the full amount because obviously they needed the money that bad and I was overwhelmed with the situation. I honestly would have been happier to eat captain d’s.

The wife and I have been back to Dirty Dons twice. Both times, we hit Barnes and Nobels and then wanlked over to Dons. Both times, we sat at the bar and had great service and great food. For drinks, their old fashion (sugar, not simple syrup) is good, and so is their Jo Mamas sweet tea. For food, the ahi tuna tacos were very good, and so were the lobster bites.

The food was awesome. This was our first time at this location in Market Commons. I thought there was more room, the restrooms were cleaner and the atmosphere was perfect. Parking Garage was right across the street from the restaurant.
