Wonderful atmosphere, great food presentation with surprisingly reasonable prices. The food was very good. Loved being able to sit at the bar. I am thrilled to have found Asian food in Myrtle Beach that wasn’t run of the mill take out. Service was exceptionally friendly with well informed servers. This will become a regular spot!

Disappointing.
We went to Flaming Fin for the 1st time two weeks ago for lunch on a Friday. The service was slow but the food was outstanding. I had the Sashimi lunch special that came with 4 different fish, 3 good size pieces each: salmon, tuna, yellow tail, and toro (?). Some of the best sashimi I’ve had, and I used to travel to Asia 3 to 4 times per year.
We stopped by last Saturday for lunch again, and I order the sashimi lunch, again. This time the plate had 3 pieces of salmon. That’s it! Other than one small piece of sushi and 4 very small pieces of a cucumber and cream cheese roll. Huge disappointment.
Consistence in a restaurant is everything and that plate should never have been served…..

Dearest Reader,

If you are weighing your options for Asian cuisine in Myrtle Beach, stop now. I've just made the choice for you. My husband, self and two children came to this fine dining establishment for a little sushi action and we found so much more.

For starters, we met our waiter Burke. Truly and upstanding gentleman. He was personable, playful, upfront and intriguing. We got to know him better during our visit and we have to say, it's sad to consider that we may never see him again. Regardless, our stories will be forever intertwined.

The bartender, who's name I don't know but who looked akin to Charlize Theron was kind, joyful and attentive to her customers. There was an air of confidence and grace about her as she crossed the room multiple times and as she visited our table as well.

Every food item Burke brought out played like a ukulele on all of our senses. Gentle yet robust flavors. Smooth textures. Simply delicious and filling. So much so that we took our main entree to-go (it was late for our children or we might have stayed late into the night.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was inviting. A cool, relaxed yet playful atmosphere. You feel like some sort of star and while staff moved easily throughout like a well-oiled wheel, you could sense the ease and peace with which they operate. Our every need was met, often before we had even considered the need. Truly, impressive establishment. Should we ever return to this area, we expect we will visit the Flaming Fin.

This is a great sushi place off of River Oaks near the intercoastal waterway. The atmosphere is really cute. We enjoyed the love boat mix as well as fried rice. We plan to make this a regular place to visit when we stay in Myrtle Beach near the waterway at River Oaks.

By far one of the best spots for lunch or dinner. They have some super great sushi and if sushi isnt your thing, they also have really good entrees with rice or noodles too!

I’ve gone here quite a few times & my chicken pad Thai is always good. But these last three times I’ve been here mediocre but today will be the last time I go there. By far the worst I’ve ever eaten.

Little disappointed in the quality of the food. Ordered a Salmon roll which did not contain salmon. The filling was a bred crumb salmon look. We ordered two entrees off the menu and both were served hot which was good but the flavor was very bland. We had asked for brown rice instead of the white. It was dry, crunchy and tastless. The restaurant is fairly new so maybe it just needs time to get things right.

Love their soups and sushi, how ever when I ask for a small Tom yom soup last time I was told small container was fine instead of the pint size. No big deal, but don’t tell me people hey I can give you small with that and than tell me manager said no… not smart business and it’s sad because they have change and messed things up couple times. I only order from them now and never dine in.

The food here is incredibly overpriced for the mediocrity that they're serving. Tried it once and hated it. Decided I would try it again and once again hated it. Decided to get an order of plain wings, I've had better wings from Food Lion. Got a spicy salmon roll, it wasn't even remotely spicy and tasted like it had been made at least the night before. Will never order from here again
