Flip Flops Bar and Grill

This place is great! It is just a short walk from my house. Ocean views, outside seating area, great food and good people. Daily specials and TV’s to see sports events. Most of all the best bartender Maya will be there to serve up delicious food and drinks 🍹 🍷 🥤 🥘.

We were a group of 5.....locals who live within walking distance.
We ordered 3 apps to which she told us: "since your apps are on 3 different checks, they will come out at separate times". REALLY? And they did!!! Took over 10 minutes for chicken wings.
Wings were delish; rest of the food was just okay.
Two of us ordered fish tacos; she had one in her hand for almost 2 minutes (while she finished her conversation with guy at bar) before she brought it to table; the 2nd one came out 5 minutes later....REALLY?
Service was very lacking: the bartender/server was more interested that guy at the bar. And.....we were the only table!
Maybe in another year or so we will try it again. Meanwhile there are way too many other local places with better service and food.

Open late is only good thing i can say about Flip Flops. Place needs to liven up and be more welcoming

The place looked like it was once a fun place to hang out for food and drinks…however, not so much anymore. Within minutes of sitting down, there were flies everywhere. While waiting for our food there was a cockroach that crawled across the floor straight towards our table. My husband killed him as no one was around to take care of it in the restaurant. The lobster sub was flavorless and the texture of the lobster was off. Fries were poorly seasoned. My son wouldn’t even drink his lemonade. I tried it at one point and it tasted so artificial I threw it away. I’d avoid this place at all costs!

The fish & chips were very good- light breading on flounder with homemade chips. Prices were low for the beach. We enjoyed our meal and plan to return.

A cute place that had very good fried pickles, sandwiches and fries! Our server was sweet and attentive, our food was served quickly and it was very nice outdoor seating.

Worst service I have ever experienced. “Issac” used his past health to help his tips. Your business is also not up to date on technology. Being at a beach how many walk around with their debit cards. You should really tell your bartenders before they start using their health history to make money they could care a little more of the people they are servicing, maybe ask about them for once. Or move from the location of a place full of TOURIST.

We had one great waitress on Friday afternoon. The rest of the time my friends or myself went we dealt with the most unhappy, miserable, and rude staff. Slow down, smile, be kind.

Time to clean house on 95% of your staff. Seriously, the waitresses are hateful, rude, and killing a hot spot place that could be much more successful. I have heard all weekend the same opinions.
