This was our first visit to Gios. The server was Chris(Hristo) who was Greek/Albanian. He recommended the Risotto Pescatore special for me, and my Wife ordered the Renato's Favorite(Renato is the Chef). From the beginning, both the food and service were truly outstanding. The bread came with olive oil with balsamic vinegar drizzled into it and spelled out Gios. The taste was intensely good. Stopped in for early dinner and ate at the bar. Mussels were great as well as the lasagna. Service was good for being at a not super busy bar felt like I shouldn't have had to ask for water a couple of times. There were only 9 not super needy patrons. The bartender also forgot that I get a salad with my meal. Great place however it is probably pretty loud when busy as the "wall dividers" for seating are just fancy slabs with holes in them. Pretty good experience, all except waiting so long for our food. Wasn't our servers fault, came from kitchen. We were there before the crowd came in & still had to wait on food. But they recovered, the food was great. Our server Alissa was awesome 👌 No hats allowed.
