My family and I have enjoyed this place for many years. Unfortunately, as amazing as the pizza is, we won't be returning. It's absolutely amazing pizza, but the restaurant is a dump. On our last visit, we noticed the building was being exterminated. Yes, the restaurant has roaches. The lighting is very dim and the place is very dated. Old tables, chairs, etc. The bathrooms are never clean and always out of order. They just need to move to a new location. If you have pizza ordered and delivered to you, you would probably never know how nasty this restaurant is. You would really enjoy your pizza until you eat a bug.

Out of town? Not sure where to get food pizza? Let me tell you, THIS is the place! So good! I saw a billboard with a picture which lead me to find it. IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE BILLBOARD! The staff was friendly and the place looked clean. We will definitely be back!

Never tried this place before tho I have heard of it many times. Pizza was outstanding tasted very good .. not really a deep dish but a thick crust. Friendly staff and very quick. May have to stop in again

I haven't had Godfathers since the 90 in Kansas city Missouri, so I was excited to try it again.First off the customer service trying to call in and place an order was a disaster. She answers and says can you hold and puts the phone on the counter. It took about 7 min then she acts like she can't hear us and hangs up. Called back took 4 times before anyone answered, I ordered a jumbo, I thought they said $19, but they said $29 and they change you 4% to use your credit card, who does that? And at this price they shouldn't charge me for that since I'm bringing them business.Second the restaurant is very dated and run down inside. It could definitely use a make over.Finally, about the pizza. While I loved the cheese, wasn't much pepperoni on it for a jumbo. The pizza wasn't bad but I agree with other reviews the crush wasn't good. And for $30 bucks I expected more toppings on the pizza.

Not the best pizza spot Myrtle Beach has to offer ! The Ambiance , was as if the place was stuck in the 80's The service , was comparable to talking to walking dead zombies with No customer service skills , they even forgot to give us (paper) plates to eat off of ! The Pizza , nothing to write home about , not enough sauce plus it was very bland .. I believe pizzas from the depression era had more toppings than the one we had . Finally the price , over 35 dollars for a medium Hawaiian pizza !!!! With no drinks !!! Definitely will never go back , I'm very surprised the place is still open .

Late night takeout right before closing on our 38th wedding anniversary!! What can I say, we were in the mood for pizza!! We ordered the large specialty pizza, all meats, as a deal that came with 2 sides. The cheesesticks w/ marinara and the potato wedges w/ ranch were both freshly cooked and delicious. The pizza had plenty of toppings, and the crust was golden! Everyone was friendly, even so close to closing time. Enough for dinner again the next day for both of us. Lots of food for a good price!

We were visiting MB for the first leg of our honeymoon trip and my Husband being from Buffalo NY, was curious about the hype of Godfathers pizza. Me being from the south and I grew up eating Godfathers, made me proud to show off our “southern” pizza. Well first of the all the restaurant is very dimmed in lighting and I wasn’t sure if it’s on purpose or just the old ness of the building, secondly the ladies bathroom is DISGUSTING, if I didn’t have to go badly, I would’ve held it but we decided to eat there and I knew I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my lunch if I didn’t go! Meanwhile my husband said the men’s bathroom smelled like pee! Our pizza came out piping hot and fresh and brought back all of my childhood memories. As we were finishing our food, a customer screamed out “Oh h*ll No, there’s a roach in my pizza, which to our dismay the roach was in their pizza as another one was crawling down the wall. The manager immediately gave the customers back their money. My mouth was on the floor. I know that Godfathers is a staple here at MB, but just a suggestion, please close for a week or so for a full extermination as well as get the lightning fixed. I hope this helps someone.
