This was a nice treat for our first in Myrtle Beach. The restaurant, gift shop, and staff were absolutely wonderful. I hope they all made it home safe since the snow started to fall during dinner!
The folks we interacted with were great! Friendly, helpful, and kind. Food is WAY overpriced and definitely not worth it. Burgers were good, not great. Kids meal was overcooked and small. Salad was straight out of a bag and disappointing.
We've been here for almost 2hrs long haven't even gotten our salads , waitress never took our entree order, and passed by our table multiple times with no refills. Our family will not be coming back next year.

The Hard Rock never disappoints it is the BEST place to be on NEW YEARS EVE. Everything was amazing.
Last year we had a blast, so much fun. We booked again this year and it was total disaster. We ordered our drinks and took forever to get them. Once they arrived the beer was totally flat and tasted horrible! It was not drinkable at all. Sent it back to get a can beer. Food took forever to get, we were literally starving when it came. I had the salmon, which was good but VERY small portion, they covered the plate with tons of mashed potatoes and green beans. We left right after dinner, did not stay for midnight. Will not go back!
The New Year's Eve table for 2 reservation was not as advertised! We got no table, it was standing room only for $20 per person plus tax! That ended up being $50 total for no table!!! Pure scam!! There was no one take a drink order, we had to go to the bar and order ourselves!! There was no food or ability to order any food!!! Another $40 for 2 drinks!! 4 hours of standing because we were made to show up at 8 pm because of the reservation!! If I would have known there was no table I could have booked something else to do!! The manager at Hard Rock was polite and told us that this was the problem with Open tables wording!! This was an outright scam of $50!!!! Never again!!
One word: terrible. 3 people at hostess stand doing absolutely nothing, 2 servers for ALL tables working their butts off. Unfortunately, didn't save much face. Waited 20 mins just to order drinks. Food was wrong, cold, gross. We took our kids here for some fun because we remembered it being fun when we were young with our parents. I wouldn't recommend this place even to my worst enemy. We took care of our server though because she gave us a discount recognizing how bad the service was...not her fault...terrible management!
We loved our waiter Joey. Food was great. Atmosphere was excellent.

Unless you're just looking to visit all of the Hard Rocks in the world, it's really not worth it. The food is fine, the atmosphere was average and the service wasn't good. The service part is dependent on who serves you, of course, but the price compared to what you get just isn't worth it. Hard Rock NYC was the same way and for some reason we went back in Myrtle Beach just because it was right next to the comedy show we had just seen. We won't be back.

We are locals and eat at Hard Rock a few times per year. They serve food much better than the usual tourist places. This evening, my family and I looked forward to a nice meal and purchasing some merchandise. When we arrived, two hosts told us the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. I looked around and saw the restaurant was nearly empty! I pointed to rows of empty tables and asked if all the tables were reserved. One host replied that they were short staffed. The first question that came to mind was, with a restaurant so empty, how could there be 45 minutes of business ahead of us. The second was why they needed two hosts to seat diners in a largely empty restaurant. Surely one host could pick up the slack where they were short handed. While I know we'll give them another try, my advice to Hard Rock is if you can't fully open your restaurant, then just close it. My advice to future diners is have a back up plan.
The food was not that good, not for the price point. The waitress was good but that is about it. Not like a normal hard rock very small no landmark building not a lot of music merchandise in the restaurant.
We had a really wonderful meal; the front desk staff were helpful, our server, Westley, was absolutely outstanding- very attentive, providing suggestions & tidbits about the menu as well as restaurant. The food arrived quickly, piping hot & mouthwateringly delicious. Definitely splurge for the dessert because it's worth saving room for!! We will be back, for sure!
Like always we had a great meal, great value, great service. We always make a reservation because of how busy they can be. Thanks again
Food was horrible. Dried out chicken tenders and cold seasoned fries with very little seasoning
