We stopped in because we had an amazing cheesecake they made at The Library Restaurant. What they made in the bakery was not nearly as good. $3ea for macaroons that were bland and 3 of the 5 flavors tasted the same. None of the cookies I got tasted like anything except the pumpkin snickerdoodle that was concentrated pumkin spice with no cinnamon sugar. The éclair was just below average with some weird frosting on top. And the mini cake had an obscene amount of "buttercream" frosting on an otherwise boring white cake. 10 macaroons, 3 cookies, 1 mini cake, 1 éclair for $60. The grocery store has better pastries for MUCH cheaper. Don't waste your time here. Super disappointed.

I have had the pleasure to work with Holly twice now and both times Holly has gone beyond our expectations. The cakes have been beyond beautiful and have tasted delicious. Overall such great experiences from beginning to end. Thank you Holly, if I could give you 10 stars I would! ?

I just had an amazing experience at Holly's Bakes Cakes today. I had possibly the best red velvet slice in Horry County, perhaps in South Carolina. It was the perfect hint of cream cheese and vanilla buttercream frosting on the most moist and fresh velvet cake you could ever have. Sheer decadence at its finest! The slices are huge and well worth it. I opted to slice mine down the middle and make it two slices. What you see pictured here is just half of the decadent slice you are going to get. Three layers of amazement to say the least! I will absolutely frequent this beautiful establishment when visiting the area. The decor is very cute and festive and the customer service was impeccable! I highly recommend ✨

Our wedding cake was perfect! The design was stunning, fitting our theme (simple & elegant) beautifully, and it tasted even better. Each layer was moist and flavorful, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Holly was fantastic to work with, making our vision come to life. Highly recommend!

Wow, Holly's Bakes & Cakes is 10/10! Great communication thru the entire ordering process. I sent Holly a picture of what I was looking for and she delivered! The flavor of the cake was incredible. The cake stole the show at the party! Everyone loved it!

Holly made my bridal shower cake and also our wedding cake. Both were AMAZING!!! She was able to recreate the cakes from my pinterest inspo pics and they were both incredible. Also, if you go into her shop- be sure to try a Cruffin (croissant muffin), they're to die for!! Love this bakery and would recommend to anyone for any event!

The cake for our elopement was amazing! The communication was quick annd easy ans we were coming out of town. Exactly as I imagined and the red velvet was delicious! I definitely recommend Holly’s Bakes and cakes!!

Holly’s Bakes and Cakes is AMAZING! Our wedding cakes were even better than we could imagine. She decorated our cakes beautifully and created exactly what we wanted. The flavors were amazing and the entire cake was gone after the cake cutting. We loved the almond, vanilla bean and strawberry!! We highly recommend using her for your wedding cake!

My husband gifted me a cake from this place, and I must say, it was so beautiful that I didn't want to cut into it. It was exactly as I imagined. This place made our wedding cake it tasted amazing! The whole process was professional and handled just how you would want something so important to be handled. The actual cake was even better than the test cakes. Affordable and excellent choice for and sweets you need.
