Holly's Bakes & Cakes

Really nice find. I was visiting Myrtle Beach for the weekend and needed some last second desserts for my sister-in-laws birthday and Holly (yes of Holly’s bakery) was there to assist. I got an assortment of desserts from the case and everything was absolutely delicious.

The cruffin was great and Holly was able to fill it with vanilla cream and top with a strawberry which my SIL loved.

If you love supporting small businesses that are owner operated or if you just like delicious desserts, swing by.

I didn’t see many, but from what I can tell from some of the partially done cakes in the cooler, the made-to-order stuff should be Devine. It’s off the strip but definitely worth it. Check it out!

Holly’s bakes and cakes saved the day for my wedding cake and it turned out absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing! They had the best customer service and were able to take on a last minute 1 day notice when another vendor unfortunately messed up for our big day. I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

Last minute went to bakery to get cupcakes and cookies for an event and they knocked it out of the park! I was extremely impressed.

I received a cookie tray as a gift and WOW! Each one is INCREDIBLE! This is a must for anything made in their kitchen!

All of Holly's baked goods are delicious! She regularly changes items in the case and keeps client favorites.

Holly’s has made 2 cakes for my family this year and we were blown away by both of them! Great communication and the cakes tastes amazinggggg!! Super talented, efficient, and friendly. I recommend to everybody!

We stopped in because we had an amazing cheesecake they made at The Library Restaurant. What they made in the bakery was not nearly as good. $3ea for macaroons that were bland and 3 of the 5 flavors tasted the same. None of the cookies I got tasted like anything except the pumpkin snickerdoodle that was concentrated pumkin spice with no cinnamon sugar. The éclair was just below average with some weird frosting on top. And the mini cake had an obscene amount of "buttercream" frosting on an otherwise boring white cake. 10 macaroons, 3 cookies, 1 mini cake, 1 éclair for $60. The grocery store has better pastries for MUCH cheaper. Don't waste your time here. Super disappointed.

I have had the pleasure to work with Holly twice now and both times Holly has gone beyond our expectations. The cakes have been beyond beautiful and have tasted delicious. Overall such great experiences from beginning to end. Thank you Holly, if I could give you 10 stars I would! ?

I just had an amazing experience at Holly's Bakes Cakes today. I had possibly the best red velvet slice in Horry County, perhaps in South Carolina. It was the perfect hint of cream cheese and vanilla buttercream frosting on the most moist and fresh velvet cake you could ever have. Sheer decadence at its finest! The slices are huge and well worth it. I opted to slice mine down the middle and make it two slices. What you see pictured here is just half of the decadent slice you are going to get. Three layers of amazement to say the least! I will absolutely frequent this beautiful establishment when visiting the area. The decor is very cute and festive and the customer service was impeccable! I highly recommend ✨

Our wedding cake was perfect! The design was stunning, fitting our theme (simple & elegant) beautifully, and it tasted even better. Each layer was moist and flavorful, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Holly was fantastic to work with, making our vision come to life. Highly recommend!
