We recently visited Myrtle Beach for the past 4 days and asked around about restaurants that serve great Jamaican food and we were sent to homestyle and must I say they absolutely did not disappoint from the esthetics of the restaurant? The cleanliness, the food, the atmosphere, everything was top tier. The food was absolutely delectable and the employees were beyond professional and extremely helpful and considerate with all of our questions, a definite recommend.

My lady an I visited from out of town. The food was pretty good. I have no major complaints other than they were out of Jerk Chicken at 11Am on a Monday morning. However the Customer Service that we received was TERRIBLE and DISRESPECTFUL. My lady an I stood and waited for almost 7 min to place an order while this employee stood an talked to this couple. The convo was loud an wasn't of any importance. We finally got to place an order an got our food. I went to place 1 more order before we left an in the middle of me placing my order the same employee got on the phone, turned around an walked away.We DEFINITELY WON'T BE BACK

if you are in the Myrtle Beach area, take your time to visit this restaurant. recently I was I stopped by and I tried to jerk chicken with cabbage side, rice and peas side and plantains. the dish was absolutely delicious and the chicken literally fell off the bones however it had the best bite and taste.

We were traveling and went to the restaurant in the evening. We ordered jerk chicken meal for two. In one box, they added two pieces of chicken, but in another box, there was only one piece ( pictures attached). We had carry out and discoved it when we came to our hotel and opened the box. They didn't inform us and didn't compensate by replacing the missing item with other items, e.g., extra plantain fry. We felt they cheated us by not telling that they ran out of chicken. Don't sneak your customer; either refund partially or replace with something else and inform the customer. We didn't return to the restaurant during the rest of our stay. The chicken was OK, not as good as other Jamaican restaurants we tried in the US.

THEY HAVE SUCH DELICIOUS FOOD, THE LADY(IES) AT THE FRONT ARE JUST NEVER REALLY THAT FRIENDLY, THEY DON'T ACT LIKE THEY WANT YOUR MONEY. I'VE GONE HERE TWICE RECENTLY, AND IT SEEMS LIKE EACH TIME, THE LADY HAS AN ATTITUDE, SHE DOESN'T SPEAK, YOU HAVE TO SPEAK TO HER FIRST. IT'S NOT LIKE THEY WERE PACKED, THERE WAS ONLY ONE TABLE SITTING DOWN EATING. WE ARE SPENDING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE ($70+) AND I JUST THINK THAT IF YOU'RE AT THE FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT , YOU SHOULD HAVE A BETTER ATTITUDE, BUT ALL IN ALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE & WOULD GO HERE AGAIN, THE ATMOSPHERE IS REALLY NICE AS WELL. JUST BE PREPARED TO NOT FEEL WELCOMED..... ALSO, IM PRETTY SURE THE "OXTAILS" ARE REALLY NECK BONES, WHICH ARE MUCH CHEAPER THAN OXTAILS. THERE MAY BE OXTAIL IN THERE, BUT IT'S COMBINED WITH NECK BONE AND THE MAJORITY OF MINE WAS NECK BONES. IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS BUT WHY DECEIVE, CALL IT WHAT IT IS.

We were so disappointed with the boxed maccaroni and cheese, the curry chicken had lots of bones with not a lot of meat and the Cabbage was bland. I have an allergy to coconut and was told the only option was white rice so we had to order all sides. The prices were way too expensive for sides. Nevertheless, we will never return to this establishment.
